Service was fine but wow the food was not. The meat was poor quality and not marinated. The meat barely held together. Sides were meh.
Had a wonderful experience at Ejo Korean BBQ. Fresh quality meat to cook right at the table.I would definitely go back with friends or family. It was a memorable experience.
Had a great time here! Fun Korean BBQ experience. We got the all you can eat which I highly recommend so you can try different things. Two things I think that could have been improved on were that they closed the kitchen before their closing time, which was a bummer since we showed up more than an hour before closing and were told halfway through that they were taking last orders. You should keep your kitchen open for your guests. We also had to ask for sides to be brought out multiple times, which I felt should have come out from the get go and refilled with a bigger group. Overall, fun experience with quality meats and food.
The speed and service were great! We did not come for the Korean BBQ, rather the entrees, so I can only speak towards the food we had. It was just okay - the jajangmyeon and japchae. The tteokboki was good, though. The custard cake was disappointing. The meat found in the soup was quite... Chewy and tough. It was an okay experience, but we probably won't be back.
The food was not terrible. It was more or less in line with Korean BBQ elsewhere. I can confidently say this was the worst service I have received. Admittedly, the one waitress was overworked. 45 minutes before we had our food delivered? And that food what not what we ordered? We could not get our water refilled, no straws despite asking, items never delivered, other tables seated at the same time who finished their meal and left before we received our food….. just terrible. Not recommended.
I am blown away at how many good reviews this has on Yelp & Google. First of all, the service is terrible. My wife and I had never been to a Korean BBQ place, we were hoping for more of a run through for it from the staff. We were given slim to no information from our waiter. Our waiter asked us if we would like Rice half way through our meal, we were supposed to get it but she forgot. The rice was old. Everything generally had a the same taste. Not horrible but not wonderful either. The Garlic Pork Belly was horrible, that did not taste like garlic, it was foul. Short ribs were too fatty to even eat, unless you enjoy short rib gum. The only thing that was good was the dumplings. So we filled up on that. Terrible price for what we ate and the quality of it. We are still intrigued by Korean BBQ but would absolutely not come back here. Would not recommend.
Fantastic Korean BBQ restaurant with super friendly staff! We did the all-you-can-eat dinner (although didn’t even end up ordering more than 6 meats cause we got full so quick), and everything we tried was fantastic. The staff was super helpful and made great recommendations for the best options. He also even asked for feedback in the end about what we did and didn’t like. We’ve been to Korean bbq places all over and this one is definitely solid.
Best Korean BBQ I have ever eaten. Service at the table was prompt and friendly! I would encourage anyone, especially Korean food fans to go to EJO!
Not a good experience. I went with a group and we all left feeling like we paid $30 each to just sit at a table hungry and thirsty for two hours. Exact opposite of “all you can eat”. I think they’re really understaffed - our server wasn’t super helpful or attentive and she hardly ever came. Forgot our orders like 5 times. We waited literally more than an hour for our dumplings and multiple times in the night we were feeling like we should just pick up and go.
I went there tonight with my husband and mother in law and we had William as our server. He was so kind and attentive to our table and gave great suggestions. We have been to other Korean BBQ places but this one is our new favorite! The meat was fresh and delicious, the dumplings were amazing and the service couldn’t be beat. We will definitely come back!
