I wish I knew what your name was. My father went in yesterday to order mixed bagels and the employee that helped him simply said he could not toast them for my father without a reason and told him to go pay for them at the cashier.Which my father did and then told the cashier and the cashier went over to that employee and told him to toast our bagels.My dad has gone multiple times to buy bagels here and he's never been told they can't toast bagels.I don't know if this is because we aren't white, but we've lived in Taylorsville for over 20 years and LONGER in Utah. My father speaks perfect English so I don't understand WHY he would be told his bagels cannot be toasted when everyone else's could be.People are entitled to their own opinions even if it's racist, but it's your job to give service to everyone.Keep your political and racial opinions to yourself.I dont like throwing around the racist card, but I felt like this was.Or the employee was just lazy and rude.We'll drive to the other bagel shop from now on. Even if it's farther.
I did a online order for the first time, I had forgotten I had a meeting at 9am, my order is for 9am. My fault. I went in to ask Maggie the employee and I asked if I can get it early, she looked at me like it was a problem asking her. So people if have something come up you can’t change the order time. I asked Maggie can I cancel my order and she said yes, I then go out side to cancel it and I can’t. Now im waiting 25mins and then I get my order and I’m on my meeting in the shop. I get my order and I go to get office and it’s out. I don’t ask her because she already looks bothered. I ask someone else and then she asked Maggie to make it and she gos ove there and speak to me and grab the coffee and goes back there and she tells me five minutes, 10mins passed and I had to go up there and ask for my office. The team lead got my cup and filled it up. I told him that she was being very rude since I got there. I won’t be spending my hard working money there. She can keep your rude attitude.
Does it get tastier than bagels? I don’t think so. This location held up the Einsteins standards & the bagels were great. Just prepared to wait for a little while.
This location is one of the worst. Order online (when it was available it would take 45 minutes) now they’ve just turned it off completely. Once you walk in you’ll stand by the register for 10-15 minutes before your acknowledged. This place can desperately use some leadership.
I have been to this location twice in the past year. Einstein's used to be awesome, I really miss the Midvale locationThe food is good but like everyone has stated, why the heck are they soooo slow at everything? Also.... This store really needs to sweep and mop under the machines and drink counter ? there is a thick layer of filth under the drink counter
I’ve always loved Einstein’s, but this location has major issues. If you order in store plan on waiting at least 45 minutes no matter how few customers are in the store. If you order online for pickup or have your food delivered your order will be wrong every single time. Even when the receipt taped to the bag clearly states your very simple order. Today was the final straw. They sent me the wrong bagels and and left out the tub of shmear that I ordered. But hey, they threw in a chocolate chip cookie instead. That’ll taste really good on a cheese bagel ?
Sadly haven't had the best experience here but I don't think that's necessarily fault of the people who work here. Every tinei go it's super busy. Which is to be expected especially since it's usually the weekend. However, every tome I have gone, it has taken them FOREVER to get my order out, even ifi only order one thing. However, my boyfriend and I went here the other day, and it was again (super busy) we got there about 12:22 and didn't leave until about 1:20 and I ordered one bagel sandwich. That was it. My boyfriend tried to order a burrito but they were out. I'm not upset with the staff necessarily because I could see they were busy and only had 3 people working, but what bothered me is they helped several people who came in after us who left with their orders sooner (even if they were bigger) and I don't think we're the only one they did that too. When we finally got our food after almost an hour of being patient and not raising a fuss, they didn't even bother saying something like "Sorry about the wait " or "thank you for your patience." Etc. This bothered me as someone who is very familiar with the food industry and how to properly do customer service. Other than that they've never screwed up my order, the good is always great and they're always very kind.
Ordered online at 6:07 came in to the store at 6:45 check the tables and no bags were there, approached the counter and ask about my order, show them the app an I was told They are backed up and had to wait for my order to be ready. In my app it showed it was ready at 6:24…. Employee ( Colored hair dude ) cut both of us off ( The lady who was helping me and myself) and just said I had to wait they’re trying to take care of all the customers rn.Fine… then at 7:06 an employee comes out with a bag and put it on the delivery table and I didn’t mind to check because I was there for a pick up I even told the guy I wasn’t a “driver” I’m just here to pick up for myself.After 5 mins I’m already irritated so I approached the counter one more time and ask how long it will be because in my app it says it has been ready since 6:24 then the colored hair guy AGAIN, cut me off saying your order is on the table honey.First off, I did not appreciate the attitude, second off they placed the bag in the table for “Drivers pick up” When I told them the order pick up and driver pick up is two different things or at least to let the customers know to avoid any issues.Horrible service, Horrible employees and horrible food because it was COLD!Never coming back again.
I really like Einstein bagels, but the last couple of times that I have come to this location they have had little to no bagels. Today they had a handful of bagel flavors and only 1 or 2 bagels for each flavor. Like I said, I like the bagels, but it is annoying for me to come over here out of my way on the way to work for disappointment.
Some days the sandwiches are fantastic, others they are blecch. If you don’t mind inconsistency, this is a great place to visit. Staff is always nice.
