Filling my own drink and not seeing our waiter one time after the food is ordered is unacceptable. Hearing the table behind me ask for double drinks and in a bottle so they don’t have to wait for the waiter is not the environment I want to dine in. Absolutely TERRIBLE service from start to finish.
This is a great little place. The food and drink are high quality at good price points. Service is great, efficient and friendly, and they have a very can-do attitude.I highly recommend this establishment. Very American, and they can swap out sandwich ingredients if you needed.
Our food was outstanding. Perfect quiche, crust was amazing, fresh as could be salad, son enjoyed a beautiful perfectly cooked steak sandwich. Lovely strips of rare tender steak with onions and mushrooms , fries were addictive they were sooooo good. Service also great. Atmosphere.....jazz game and nice music. Go here! You will be happy!
Handy if you’re near Trolley Square. It has a nice range of beers and excellent service. Food is ok though nothing amazing.
Our waiter was super cold to us. At least our first waiter. He ended up saying I am leaving some one else can have you. Then we had a lady waitress come and she had a hard time answering questions. The last waiter that came to the table was super polite and super friendly. 2 out of 3 waiters were horrible. The food is great. Super light and healthy. The music is great. Never heard any of it on the radio. My husband did enjoy the beer selections as well. Hey he restaurant is clean. Bathrooms were clean. It’s just the service. I’ll maybe come back for food but if I can get it some where else with better service then I will. ❤️
First time in. Food was ok, but very cool location and ambiance. Service was friendly but not coordinated. Three servers asked us for a drink order within three minutes if sitting down and they did not appear to be working in synchrony. This is a brewery, it takes a few minutes to scrutinize the menu. . . Then there was like a 10 minute delay to finally place a drink order. This was lunch, my wife had the Portobello Mushroom sandwich and I had the Santa Fe chicken sandwich. I tried hers and we agreed is was pretty good. Mine was mediocre, could have a some measure of spicy heat for something southwaestern. The house pasta salad, a signature dish, was odd in that the pasta was long fettuccine. . . Cold pasta salad should use a bite-sized pasta (bow tie, fusilli, etc.)... Plus it was really clumped together like it wasn't stirred often while cooking. It tasted ok but just an awkward presentation and experience.I had the beer sampler (5 samples) I enjoyed two, pale ale and IPA.All in all, we would try it again but we would definitely not visit that mall just to go to Desert Edge (30 minute drive from our home).
I've been going to Deser Edge for years now. My most recent visit was to celebrate my mother's birthday, so we had a bit of a larger group. They seated us quickly, the waiter was extremely personable, and the food came out quickly and was delicious. Our go-to appetizer is always nachos and they did not disappoint. My usual order of the Pub Club on rye with house pasta was amazing (as always), and the french fries were some of the best we'd had. I appreciate their service and can't wait to visit again.
Nothing but good things to say about this place. The chef salad was great and really well mixed by the cook. Good beer and great service.
Awesome food and beer. Food is always great. Servers are hit and miss, sometimes music sort of bad but overall food keeps us coming back.
Service was great, one couple shared the nachos and were very happy. I had the rubin sandwich it was great. My darling bride's club sandwich was less then great. Bread was stale and fries were cold. Her meal was deducted from the bill. Over all it was good
