Wow, what a difference 5 years makes! Everything I used to love about Dee's has faded. I came here on Thanksgiving afternoon since it was one of the few places open. I was excited to see a turkey dinner offered for $14.99, so I ordered that. It was a disaster in every way possible (except for the service: imagine that)! My dinner sounded like a value because of what was included. It's not a good deal when the food is borderline inedible. My meal came with the following: * Beverage - I selected iced tea, which was freshly brewed and really delicious. Turns out, it was the best part of my entire meal. * Soup - I chose Wisconsin cheddar. This was DISGUSTING; so bad that Dee's should be ashamed of serving it. Grainy and thick with a snot-like consistency, this gelatinous glob of grossness and its fake smoky taste made me gag. * Turkey - I was expected carved turkey breast. Instead, I got slices of supbar deli sandwich turkey covered in slimy gravy and a small side of canned cranberry sauce. * Stuffing / Dressing - this was runny, like the kitchen had run out and tried to stretch it by adding water. I couldn't eat this. * Mashed Potatoes - Meh. * Green Beans - obviously frozen beans were microwaved and slapped on the plate for some color. * Dinner Roll - cold and ripped right out of a package. * Slice of Pie - I got pecan, and it was unexpectedly mediocre. Way too sweet. The crust was tasty, at least. I was so thankful I ordered cheese fries to start. They were covered in a generous portion of cheese, but the fries themselves were soaked in grease. I don't know what happened, but every bite was just oozing grease. The potatoes had soaked up so much oil that it felt like they were stuffed with grease. The flavor was good, but I didn't enjoy eating them. My friend had an omelette and he couldn't finish more than 1/3 of it. He actually said he didn't want to eat more than that because it was so bad. I love family diners, but Dee's isn't good at all anymore. I am so, so sad to have to say that.
What a fabulous place! The decor was "dinner" style. Very clean. The price was very reasonable. The food was delicious..The staff were okay. The guy who was out server wasn't the most friendly, but wasn't horrible. We came here based on the Google reviews and are glad we did!
We love good food and Dee’s restaurant definitely delivered the deliciousness! My husband ordered pork chops and eggs, the pork chops were so tender and good. Several members of the staff went out of there way to make sure we enjoyed our time in Dee’s. I will return ~
This place was so jammed packed they had people waiting outside to get in. Restaurants needs more waiters like him. The food was good, I'm surprised they actually gave real veggies that looked fresh not from a can like the previous place we ate at yesterday. The food is way too much of a portion, I couldn't eat all it and kinda felt bad so much was going to waste. You definitely get more than what you pay for here. The french toast was pretty, the coffee was hot and the bacon crispy.

Dee’s is a classic hometown diner style restaurant that has solid breakfast food. There isn’t anything about this place that particularly stands out besides it’s retro styled interior but if you’re in the mood for a reasonably priced breakfast I’d recommend stopping in. If you’re from out of town the building is facing the Wasatch Mountain Range so if you grab a booth in the front the views contribute to a relaxing morning. (Hopefully with a crisp cup of coffee).I’ve ordered pretty much every breakfast item on the menu and the only dish I wouldn’t recommend is the Biscuits and Gravy.I will be back. Thanks for whipping up a delicious meal.
My wife and I visited Dee's for some early breakfast and we were happily surprised by a few things. First, the restaurant was clean. We've been to a few restaurants recently that were a little gritty around the corners, but Dee's cleanliness helped to make our experience better. Second, the staff were very friendly and quick, I felt like we did not have to wait long for our food. Speaking of food, I had the Cowboy Breakfast, which was delicious and very satisfying. I highly recommend this local restaurant for anyone in the area.
The Dee's experience feels like being an extra in an American movie. The spinning neon sign, the cushioned booths, the classic American food, the stacks of pancakes…I was in Salt Lake City for one night, and the choice was between this and Chinese Food. I'm glad I picked Dee's. Met up with two friends from Alaska, and the semicircular booth was the PERFECT configuration for three people! Fried pickles are ?
Food and service was great. Perfect amounts, came out quick, hot and fresh. All staff wearing masks and very attentive. There is NO spacing of tables, no dividers between tables, they are just getting as many people as they can in the seats. Once this is all over I will go back for sure but for I will stay far away. I want to go back, I do, but I also dont want to take the gamble or risk.
delicious food, amazing staff and great prices.
