This is just one Utah thing I won’t be able to accept. The burgers are so weird and the pastrami is always dry as hell. I must say this is one of the strangest things I’ve ever put in my mouth and that says a lot. Their fries were something out of a Costco bag and the gyros were so bleh. Not to mention the stomach ache that comes with it.
The customer service was amazing!! So was the baklava. The burgers were just burgers so very expensive for an average burger. My friend had the fish and said it was the worst food he had had in 30 years.I would go back to try the gyros though! Those looked and smelled amazing
I was in slc today with my son in law who had a follow up after a kidney transplant. We stopped for a delicious lunch and I left my purse in the booth. We live about 100 miles north of slc. When I got home I realized my purse was gone. I phoned the restaurant and someone had found it. There truly are angels and honest folks still in this world. I can't thank you enough for this honest act of kindness
I recommend this place, though on Sundays they are closed and they do not have any location down in Orem area. The food at the location on 400E up in SLC, is very good. Fries always hot. Meat is well done. The tzatziki yogurt is tasty. The meal in the picture is 17 18 USD (large drink and 1 Baclava) place is clean and quite busy during lunch time.
Had some business in Salt Lake and got hungry. . .went to Crown Burgers on 400 South and found a treasure! Their menu extends from burgers ,all types of sandwiches, even Rib eye Steak sandwiches, which can easily turn into combos, which includes fries and a drink of your choice. They carry the best and fresh Baklava ( a pistachio and honey ) for dessert...Coffee is thee best
The employees are nice and considerate. They prepared the food quickly, we didn't have to wait for a long time. The food was delicious and well prepared. The only downside would be the restaurant aesthetic. It's an older restaurant and it's outdated. Overall experience with customer service and food quality was great.
I'm changing my review from five stars to three after several bad experiences in the last couple months. I've had two corn dogs that came out of a microwave instead of a deep fryer on two different occasions, and a couple of hamburger patties that were burned and clearly came off the grill long before I ordered them. I really hope they come back because when they are firing on all cylinders, their food is amazing!
17.30 for a double bacon cheeseburger and onion rings with a small coke... It's not worth it. Basic burger. Decent furshure but not worth 17.30. I'm sorry but why don't I hit a Denny's and get the same burger. Great staff tho
Thirteen dollars plus for a Chicken Gyro, fries and a drink. Not worth it!Pita was like rubber, chewy. Chicken was not juicy or tender. It was tasteless and covered in yogurt sauce instead of delicious spices. Fries were crunchy, not crispy. They are usually thick with tender insides. Were these just old?I've been coming to the 200 South location in SLC for years. Something has changed. This is second time in the last few months where the meal was sub-standard.
I'm never disappointed when stopping at a Crown Burger. My favorite burger and fries. They have kept it the same as long as I can remember. They haven't cut back the size like other burger joints, and the taste can't be beat. Their fries and sauce are amazing as well.
