Please pay more to your employees and hire someone who can handle the business, three 16 year old girls struggling to serve people over here. You are making enough revenue I assume in Sugar House but your service is sucks and that is not employees fault. District or regional manager who runs the territory shame on you! If you are not able to observe that resign or take some responsibility and help and train your employees you idi…oot!
terrible….if i could give this a 0 i would but i cant so i give them a 1. I ordered my ice cream online at 9:00 pm. It said my order would be ready at 9:35. I waited and waited. I asked when it would be ready and they said they are very busy and they will finish as fast as they can. It was 10:30 and then they told me that my order had been canceled. They told me my refund would not go through in more than 10 days and they did not give me any sort of discount. This is completely unacceptable and I wont be going there again. Extremely disappointing to have to wait over an hour and not even get my ice cream. A huge waste of my time.
My order was 20 min late. Seemed like the kids working there didn’t know what they were doing. Not their fault. I think they just needed to be trained better. Definitely an issue with the store owner. Then again they are probably tired of training new people constantly because no one wants to work for unlivable wages. Seems like they just threw them in the store to figure everything out themselves.
Honestly I’m disappointed in this location I placed an order for my sons 3rd birthday for March 20th (today) I placed it a week in advance so on the 13th NOT ONE single phone call I’ve gotten if it’s ready or any questions about it. I’ve called a total of 30+ times on Friday, Saturday and today the day of pick up and NO ANSWER, I hope my cake is ready when I go pick it up. I tipped them extra since I’ve always had amazing encounters at the Murray cold stone so I hoped this one was the same way… guess not.UPDATE: it was not ready.. nobody even made my cake let alone print out the receipt so someone can make it… very disappointed in the organization they so have I will give kudos to the women who helped me and only works Sunday openings she was awesome and very sympathetic and even offered to make the cake I needed the downside it was going to be ready at 5pm and my sons birthday party started at 4pm. Although I got the cake unfortunately it was a flavor the birthday boy didn’t like since it was my only option and I ended up purchasing a petite one for the birthday boy. I would stay away from ordering cakes here I don’t see myself coming back EVER I was better off buying an ice cream cake at Winco but the birthday boy wanted coldstone..
If there’s a line at all, it will take a while. Also they never have smoothies. They don’t keep ice and they never have ice to make the smoothies. You also cannot order a smoothie online. You have to go in person and just hope they have ice so they can make a smoothie.I’m wondering why they even have it on their menu if they’re never ready to fill the order.

Send in a pick up for 2 creations. They forgot fudge one one of them. Was supposed to be done at 7:15 I got there at 7:25 and they hadn’t even made it yet. The place was COMPLETELY empty except for a family outside but they were finishing up. The girl even told me she hadn’t even made them yet. The boy also working didn’t help her at all. I am frustrated that google (who I ordered through) had me tip BEFORE I placed my order. As I was watching this girl hurry to make them she got to the end and realized she forgot to make them in waffle bowls so she took two waffle bowls and stuffed them in the bag. No sorry no nothing. I am a pretty fair person but the fact that the whole entire place was EMPTY -a family who had already ate they hadn’t even began my order! And Two barley 16 year olds and no one to supervise…
Came all the way here to get Ice Cream on Sunday with our daughter and they just CHOOSE not to cary menu items that ALL other cold stones carry, one example is they dont carry banana ice cream which is the only flavor I ever get at cold stone.... definitely not returning to this specific location.
