Another busy travel day. My lovely bride and I shared a relaxing lunch. She attacked the fruit and fruit salads with a delightful relish. While I noticed my favorite soup, clam chowder.We tried to sample a bit of everything but found, as usual, that our eyes truly were larger than our tummies. Besides, the desert bar was far to tantalizing.
I have to admit I am a super fan of Chuck-A-Rama. I worked their quite a long time ago at the Bountiful store. I can tell you, from experience, they do keep their kitchens clean. (I have worked at a lot of restaurants, let's just say, I've seen some things.) The food is good. I went 04/01/22 to the fashion place location, and George was my server. He was very good, kept my table clean, offered to get me a refill on my drink. It was fish night, and it was all yummy. The turnover on the food is very good, it doesn't sit for a long time.
We stopped for lunch after an appointment. Yummy. But the mashed potatoes were odd. Had a taste like I only have tasted with instant mashed and yet there were some different textures, mostly smooth with occasional chunk, like they cooked a few pounds of potatoes and then made instant to make up the difference. They were still good to eat.
The place is very calm and quiet which is nice. Staff are very attentive and keeping the tables clean and bussed out. The place is comforting. Not too many choices, but they make good food. Nice environment and would bring my family.
The scones and rolls are sooooooo good. The sweet pork is really good too (Thurs special). There’s always something for everyone and the quality is much better than other comparable (and more expensive) priced buffets in a Utah. Kids are very affordable (especially the younger they are). Plus the meal comes with free drinks at Chuck-A-Rama.

Helpful kind staff. Wonderful waitress with a can do attitude. Food was fresh and good. The food was a better variety than I expected. Building was cozy but needs an update. Overall good experience and would go again.
This is a great buffet. Simple comfort dishes. Very clean. Great staff. I love the salad bar because they use fresh washed lettuce not bagged ready to eat lettuce. There is a simple menu so they turnover is good, unlike places that have too many menu items.
I enjoy this place so much, it's worth a visit if you are in the SLC area! Great customer service. Food is excellent! I always have my salad, fried chicken, mash potatoes and gravy, a cold ice tea to drink etc. Decor very nice, clean with comfortable seating. The inside temperature was good. It felt like home!
My husband and I went on Mexican day, food was very good, a lot of options besides Mexican food. Loved the ice cream too, I always have fun putting them in cones haha.
