Some of the best Chinese and Asian food I’ve had yet in Utah.Located in Chinatown, this restaurant has a large menu catering to all tastes. They have traditional northern Chinese fare along with Americanized options. The prices are fair.We visited for a late lunch and it was fairly empty. There is plenty of space in the restaurant and it’s appointed traditionally. The location is conveniently close to the Asian markets nearby. Our waitress was lovely, truly one of the kindest waitstaff I’ve had in years. Our food came out quickly, but our mains came out before our appetizers. We had pork and chive dumplings, siu mai, and Shanghai dumplings as apps. The Shanghai dumplings were the best, they were seasoned perfectly and juicy. Chive dumplings often have too much of a tang from the chives but these were just right. Our mains were mostly good. The chicken was good (it’s served cold, following tradition). The braised beef noodle was disappointing. It was not as pictured on the menu and just seemed like ramen. It was fine but not spicy or flavorful enough. The wontons in chili oil were excellent.Update: ordered takeout. Shanghai dumplings and rice noodles. Both were great!

Excellent authentic Szechuan/Northern Chinese food with great service. Probably one of the best in Utah. Clean restaurant and friendly people. Highly recommended. Try the beef noodle soup!

Really enjoy this place. The staff is friendly and the food is cooked on a really hot wok, you can taste the smokiness of it. Really delicious!

This is the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Salt Lake City! They have some off-the-menu stuff that are really delicious. staff is super friendly too! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking for real Chinese food.

Ordered chicken potstickers, steamed buns with BBQ pork, Shanghai dumplings, and chicken lo mein. It was okay, but only the lo mein actually tasted fresh. So I'll start there. The chicken lo mein was delicious, slightly sweet with classic flavors and thin cut chicken which tasted independently flavored and cooked. Worked very well and started our meal off in a good place. But lo mein, to me, is not a star dish. It's not a reason why I would travel to a sit down restaurant, and so it can not carry this review up from just being okay. The pot stickers were fried crispy on the outside and soft and tasteless on the inside. The provided dipping sauce came out in a to-go style lidded plastic container, and tasted like soy sauce with water. The weren't offensive, but not good either. Definitely the low point. So one hit, one miss, but next up was the reason we came. The Shanghai dumpling, or soup dumplings. This was such a missed opportunity, because the ones that were in tact were good! But of the 8 that come with an order, only 3 actually still had soup in them. The rest were cracked on the bottom and let all of that deliciousness out, completely defeating the purpose of ordering these dumplings. This leads me to believe that this food is frozen well in advance and thawed in the steamer. That's not the end of the world usually, but in this case it damaged the food too much. The BBQ buns tasted pretty good, but did not contain enough BBQ pork for my taste and didn't have the light airiness that these buns should have coming out of the steamer. That said, they tasted good enough, and as hard to find as this type of bun can be, I'd have them again. So plusses and minuses takes me to an... Eh.

This place surprised me. It is some of the best Chinese cuisine in Utah. I ordered the twice cooked pork 回锅肉 and the mapo tofu 麻婆豆腐. The pork was cooked to perfection and had an amazing texture. The flavor was rich and had the ideal amount of spice. The tofu was very delicious as well. There is better mapo tofu in Utah but this is still some of the best. You won't regret coming here.

Holly was a fantastic server. The food came out quick and is definitely a great place for a quick lunch break. The food was delicious and very well priced. Be sure to get the hot and sour soup!

Ordered take out Kungpao tofu. The portion size was decent and you get rice amd a fortune cookie and soy sauce. For me the BEST kumg pao i tried .Tofu little crispy on outsie soft inside taste balanced. With the prices skyroceting this one is just little over 10$.

This is Salt Lake's Chinese food secret that deserved to be busier than they were on a Friday night. Simply great food with big portions for the price. We ordered four entrees and dumplings for the four of us and needed doggie bags! I wish I lived closer so I could go more often.

We were really happy with this restaurant. The food was super good, affordable, and we loved the service. Right by the Asian supermarkets if you enjoy shopping there and want to grab some Chinese food.
