This place is out of control. 3 employees on a saturday night. Line almost out the door. The employee taking orders was also responsible for taking the orders to the tables. 6 tables were waiting for their food while we were in line for 20 min. The line didn't even move and those tables hadn't been served. We walked out. I want those 20 minutes back.

Great local chain for burgers and shakes.I tried the gateway location, and ordered takeout off Grubhub. As has been my experience almost every time off GH, my order was not marked as done. I called, and the staff informed me it was ready. This was before the estimated time of completion. Staff were friendly when I picked up my order. It was well packaged and still hot/cold (my shake had been kept in a freezer). Prices are fair, though a bit higher on GH.The food was great. I tried the green mile burger-Mac and cheese, bacon, green chiles, and mustard. As with any mac and cheese burger, some spilled out. The green chilies and mustard dominated the taste profile, but it was still good. The chedda tots I got as a side were good, and came with a tasty buffalo style dip.Winning this meal was the Oreo shake. It was one of the thickest, creamiest shakes I’ve had in a long time.

Best burger ive ever had. Ordered the Schwinn with fried brussel sprouts.Cooked to perfection, the roasted tomatoes where a perfect addition to the burger.Bathroom needed some attention on a side note

We wanted to try something new tonight so we ordered from here. Placed the order online. When we arrived- which wasn’t early, it was after the pick up time they told us, I even got a text that it was ready- we went to pick it up and there was some mistake. They either voided the order, gave it away, or just didn’t make it. Told to wait and it would be right out. This isn’t even the reason I left this low of a review.Things to mention while we were there: they kept running out of menu items, had to stop taking orders for the kitchen to catch up.Come home, bite into my burger, and it looks like this. I call to let them know. I get told “Yes we make the burgers a little bit more on the medium side.”“Great. I like medium burgers and I’ve had medium burgers. This is not that.” I tell them.“I’ll make note of that.” Is all I get back.My boyfriend said I should’ve asked for a refund or tried to get something free. But I never want to eat at this place again.TLDR; Dont eat here. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

Headed to Chedda Burger in The Gateway in Salt Lake City today. This restaurant definitely defines "more than meets the eye". Inside the place doesn't look like it would be popular, but their food MORE than makes up for it. I had the Double Chedda Bacon Burger, medium-well, and it was awesome. Everything was cooked correctly, the fries were tasty and crisp. The staff was very friendly and were able to adhere to my wife's gluten free restriction. The only downsides were the table being a bit sticky, and one of the two bathrooms was out of order. The one that did work apparently had issues with the door not locking (per the customer in there before me). So, four stars for this place, definitely worth going.

I stopped in to get a burger while waiting for the next IMAX at the Clark Planetarium around the corner. Despite a long line at the time, the staff was friendly and efficient. We tried the classic and the Schwinn - both were excellent, full of well balanced flavor even though we waited 45 minutes to eat our take out. I will definitely come here again from Utah County.

Wow! All of these reviews are making my mouth water! Unfortunately, we will never know how delicious, or not so yummy, Chedda Burger actually is. After emailing, calling, and messaging through the app, we have yet to be refunded for an $80 order which we NEVER received. While on vacation to the SLC area, we ordered for our family of 7 and couldn’t wait to eat our juicy, personalized burgers. (They had advertised that they were one of the few places open on Christmas Eve.) We received an automated email that stated our meal was ready for pick up at 6:30pm. Upon arriving at the location, there was a note on the door which explained that due to the holidays, they had decided to close at 5pm. At that point, it was almost 7pm and all other restaurants in the area were closed. Had they been more professional and updated their site with correct holiday hours, I’d be $80 richer, and my sons and I would have enjoyed something other than gas station food on Christmas Eve. Super disappointed.TWO THUMBS DOWN...which is actually worse than getting flipped off.

If you’re looking for a nice, thick, juicy, scrumptious burger, then this is the place. They have gluten free buns and they are safe when it comes to allergies. Fries and bacon are safe to eat as well. They have a dedicated fryer. If you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty then you should definitely try this out. The burger is very filling and worth it. Some people mentioned the fries portion but we think it’s just enough considering the size of the burger. We’re going back before we leave Salt Lake City. Everyone there was friendly, super welcoming.

Possibly one of the best burgers I've ever had! And that's no small sample size. The caramelized onions were so good, and fresh other ingredients were perfectly balanced.

Amazing, healthy, non- hormones in burgers with locally fresh baked buns!! The people that work there were so nice and went out of their way to provide excellent service!
