We love Charlie Chow's!!! The Dragon Buffet is awesome! It's a great price for amazing food. You pick your own noodles, vegetables, sauce, spices, and meats. They cook it up and drop it off at the table. Each trip is a different flavor and different experience. The price is amazing too! All you can eat for under $20 bucks with a drink! One of the best deals in the valley. This hidden gem is a true whole in the wall dive with awesome food that fills you up! I highly recommend Charlie Chow's when hanging out downtown!
Very friendly staff the food was super good? I can't wait to come back and try out more of the amazing food. Today was my first time in and I will be coming back to eat soon for as long as my visit here? the staff are so awesome. Great location I would brings friends next time. The food was wonderful, if I lived near by this would soon be, one of my favorite diners. Their food is that good. I will stop here on my next visit to SLC.
Meh. It felt like they were leaning (hard) on their reputation and legacy, and not trying (much at all) on their food front. Bland and boring food. I've had food court Chinese that I enjoyed more. Customer service left much to be desired as well.
My only complaint: there isn't an option for 6 stars. Wow this place blew me away! Customizable meals, incredible service, all for a reasonable price! Thank you Charlie Chow's for an unforgettable meal.
Honestly the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. It’s FAST TOO. The service is great and it’s family owned so you know your money is going to directly support peoples way of life. It’s perfect for dine in or take out. I work at a dealership and many of us order from here weekly and we don’t need to call ahead. We’ll just show up and order and they’ll have our food out within 2-5 minutes and it doesn’t even taste like fast food for being that quick. THE PRICES ARE AWESOME You can get food to feed a family for a low but fair price. This is truly a Utah Classic
I love this place I’m only giving them 3 stars because I don’t like that they use styrofoam non recyclable togo containers. The environment matters to me. Great food.
First time eating here tonight with the family and it's already a favorite - honey glazed shrimp and fried green pork is fantastic. Staff was super friendly. Highly recommend it!
We enjoy our yearly tradition of eating at Charlie Chows Dragon Grill during Christmas time. It's fun to make you're own bowls and find what you love.The buffet bowls don't seem to be always cooked the same, sometimes al dented veg, sometimes charred. It still tastes good.I wouldn't recommend going in large groups.
Ordered 3 of the combos and it was enough for 4 people for $45. We haven't been here before, so just ordered some random things. The Szechuan pork was pretty good, as well as the hot and sour soup and the sweet curry chicken. The imperial chicken was okay, but a little bland. Overall on par with other Chinese places and would probably go again if we are in the area.
Great place for lunch and/or dinner. Free Parking is in the rear but can fill up fast.my only wish is they had suggestions on how to create a good flavor and how many scoops of oil are needed
