Loved caputos - wasn’t expecting to find a good Italian deli in salt lake but was so happy I did. Delicious sandwiches.
Meatball sandwich was served Luke warm.. kinda cold.. atmosphere.. oh well. The coffee served was very Luke warm... too busy to check on me .. too busy there to ask to fix it..
Now, Over Rated, over priced. Wish Tony was still around he would be ashamed. If your going to pay these prices go to fieldmans deli, at least they give good portions for the price.
Half Green salad and half Muffuletta sandwich was fresh and tasty. The Caputo sandwich was tasty but I received a extra fatty and thick slice of prosciutto (had to pick it out, sadface). The chocolate chip cookies was delicious. Awesome selection of sauces and seasonings. A lot of artesian chocolate, yum. Staff was pleasant. Parking kinda limited.
Not gonna lie this was not the 1st choice for supper last night but Mezza was jammed so we hopped in here.I ordered their Caputo Sandwich and Mo did their Pastrami (pic not included so shame on me). My sandwich was delicious as the bread was super fresh and the giardinera on the side helped a ton!I love the outdoor and indoor eating options along with a nice selection of cheeses, crackers, sauces, pastas and various items to make cocktails. A fountain dispenser in the back is appreciated as well! There are only a few tables inside but while we were there, a lot of take out ordered were happening. We def would come back and revisit this hip neighborhood.
CapuNo’sAs my husband and I walked in we were not greeted or welcomed into the store. Instead we were ignored like a person trying to talk to you about your car’s extended warranty. I ordered THE CAPUTO which was highly disappointing. Paying $10.99 for a Subway cold cuts quality deli sandwich just is wrong in my opinion. No seasonings or standout flavors that would entice me to return. The redhead and the cashier were the silver lining in this entire storm I mean store. They both were nice, smiled, and very helpful.Ps HOT PASTRAMI was delicious I must say
Great little neighborhood Italian deli. Wide selection of international foods. Incredible sandwiches. A little slice of the old country on the Salt Lake East side. Recommend you come early if for lunch as it can get hopping. Relax on the patio at front as you indulge in wonderful food.
Very good deli sandwiches, opens earlier than other locations. Good quick service and very fresh ingredients. You can find eccletic specialty products here. Easy parking.

Has it been a while since you have been insulted or abused while spending your money? Wait no more. Head on over to Caputo’s on 15th. This must be the Salt Lake version of Ed Debevic’s (a longtime Chicago eatery famous for insulting their clientele). The difference is that at Caputo’s it’s not a part of their schtick. They are just flat out rude. I give them 2 stars because the sandwiches are good but when I am spending money I don’t need any rudeness served with the food.
