OMG! I thought the hamburger combo was the bomb… A couple weeks ago I discovered this teriyaki grilled chicken bowl. Now I can’t decide which one is better :-). Plus the people that work at California burger are so professional… As a professional myself I appreciate that. The food is perfect temperature always consistent in the taste that the prices are reasonable. I just love coming there to get a bite to eat. I work for the school district so I usually share pictures of myself with different people that I come in contact with. And they are also impressed with California Burger.
The food flavor is the only thing that saved a lower rating.Wanted chili cheese fries with order. Ordered a cheese burger combo and asked for chili cheese fries and would pay the additional upcharge. Server went to the back, came back and said, "we don't do that." OK, told server ok then I am changing my order and ordered cheese burger, drink, and chili cheese fries.... no combo. She said, "I just told you we don't do that for combos." I replied, I didn't order a combo, I ordered a cheese burger, drink, and a order of chili cheese fries. She left and came back and rang it up a la cart.We were with friends who ordered directly in front of us. Our food came 26 mins after our friends food was delivered to our table. At the time of ordering we were only customers in the restaurant.Drive thru was crowded, but we ordered in front of all those people so I am wondering what tool so long. At least the food was hot and tasted well.Will not go back on next visit to SLC because of the service and time to get the food.

Wow. Wow. Wow.So, the drive thru line took a while. (I was waiting for about 25 minutes from when I pulled up to the place, to when I got my burger.)The first mistake I made, was visiting here during the lunch rush hour from the kids in the high school.... This was probably why it took me so long to get throughRegardless, the employees were super friendly, and the burger I had was amazing. ... The salad was something my aunt ordered, and she absolutely loved it.Here's what I love: the store closes from 3 PM to 5 PM... What you may not know, is that they close for a few hours to clean and disinfect the place. (They're trying to help fight COVID)I tried the California burger; for $6.50 it was amazing!If you are in a rush, this place might not be for you. But if you want to support a great business, that is help trying to keep everything safe and make an amazing Burger/salad, I urge you to visit this place.
This place looks unassuming, but it is a delight! I have only gotten the burgers, but I'm sure the whole menu is delicious. If ur in the area, need a quick bite to eat, I'd def recommend this place!
The food was great! Super busy during school lunch hours but I highly support This place due to the fact that the owner new school lunch was over and had the students that were still around go back to school! Thought that was awesome.
Great food and great service. The staff are kind and welcoming and the portion sizes are good. One thing to consider is timing. From 11:43 - 12:13 and from 1:13 - 1:43, West High is out for lunch and the place is full of teenagers. You are not likely to get your order for quite a while if you go at these times. Otherwise wait times are short and food is great.
They cook it up all fresh so it takes a minute to get your food, but it is worth it. The food is hot and fresh. The fry sauce has like a BBQ taste to it which taste really good. I would good back to this place and recommend it to others.
I love this place. Usually a monster line around lunch and dinner time but for good reason. The California burger is down right deadly. If you feel like having a cheat meal that's the one to get. One of the best burgers I've ever had. The chicken nuggets are the best I've also probably ever had. If you want something healthier the grilled chicken salad burrito is really good and you also don't feel like you're going to explode.
First time. Food was great. It took awhile but they were short staffed. They worked very hard to get our food out and seem like very nice people. I would go again.
