Just had this for the first time, and I LOVED it! So many great vegan options. I live about 1.5hrs north and had to stop on my way back from a trip. Really glad I did. I got the barbacoa sandwich, and it was huge! So tasty though. I thought the bread was good despite what one review said. I also got a lavender lemonade, and they gave me a zucchini cookie! The lemonade is seriously so good. Cookie was also AWESOME. I ate in my car and loved every second of it. Can't wait to come back and try something else.
I am a vegetarian who prefers to eat vegan; My husband is a carnivore who is open to trying alternatives. We found this place for lunch one day and we were blown away. We had a Philly and pesto chicken, and we both agreed we preferred the Philly (1000000/10); however, the pesto chicken was still great and very fresh-tasting (7/10)! The Philly has a smoky cheese-like spread on it that is to die for. Idk what they do to make their faux steak, but wow… you have to try it!We also tried a zucchini chocolate chip cookie. If you like cookies and zucchini bread, you’ll love it! & the lavender lemonade was super refreshing. Went very well with the sandwiches and cookie. :)We found ourselves there a second time just a couple weeks later because we were craving the Philly. We decided to get a bahn mi to try as well. The bahn mi was so good (9/10)—The only thing that could make it better is a lemongrass au jus dipping sauce.Aside from food, the place itself is super cute. I like ordering at the window and then sitting outside to eat. The tables outside haven’t been accessible recently, but hopefully that will change during the summer. The people that work there are always very friendly.If you are looking for a fast and fresh sandwich joint, absolutely go here. You do not have to be vegan to love this food. My husband, not vegan, now asks me to go to Buds often!
Their sandwiches are so good! So great to have a place here to grab a vegan meal for an affordable price. Never had any issues with the quality of the food or with the service. Love that they're here!
I can't believe how fast I ate that sandwich! I got the pesto sandwich as recommended by a friend and it was superb. It doesn't matter if you are vegan or not you will love the flavors and textures these sandwiches have to offer. The staff were super nice and friendly. 10/10 coming here again.
As a hot vegan sandwich aficionado, this is my top tier ranking restaurant. I love visiting SLC and walking away from the window with a perfect sub in my hands. The ingredients are amazing, the bread is perfect, the turnaround time is great. I love everything I’ve tried on the menu and I’ve had about half of it. They also have a great banh mi for not being a Vietnamese place!
One of the best vegan places in the SLC area without a doubt. The food is never disappointing and always extremely delicious. The service is always amazing and I appreciate each and every employee they have!p.s. if you’re the owner and you’re reading this; your system is really smart and you should be proud of the business you have created :)
I am not exaggerating when I say I eat buds every week. The Bahn Mi is the kind of food you dream about. The staff there is so kind and it's quick service. This is a must eat place in SLC!
Love this place. I’d love to try the whole menu but I just keep getting the barbacoa salad. I liked the dressing cup clean! Tried the lavender lemonade for the first time this week & it is an absolutely divine taste of July any time of year
10/29/2021 4:45pm First time here and it was an amazing experience. I didn’t get the name of the girl that took my order, but she was very friendly, helpful and personable. We ordered the pesto and Buffalo sandwich, 2 zucchini chocolate chip cookies and a lavender lemonade/tea. It was all DELICIOUS. Great customer service from start to finish.
