This place has absolutely gone downhill since the first time we came here. The gumbo was very salty, it had good flavor but you couldn't eat it. I ordered the catfish and shrimp platter and got 4 Shrimp and 2 very small pieces of Catfish. On a happy note the waitress did bring us extra shrimp because she saw without us asking that the portions were super small. I did appreciate that. All in all, don't think we will come back, but at least the beer was cold and delicious.
It's been a bit since we were last there during "covid". Things seem to be picking up as they were pretty busy on a Sunday. They seemed to have a full staff working and the service was great. The food is very tasty and the flavor of the marinades is awesome! Prices vary by what you order and by the weight you order, so it can be very reasonable and it can be a bit expensive depending on what you order.
Customer service is not as good as others, the only reason it is worth coming there is the food, if you order to go the waiters completely ignore you, kinda like you don't exist. The cashier was very polite and offered me a new version of the menu after the person that greeted me ignored me and just pointed to an old dirty menu on the bar after I said I wanted to order to take out. I guess I'm not worthy of good customer service if I'm not staying there.
The food tasted good, the portion was small and the service was lackluster. We didn't even take a picture of the food it was so small. We ordered the crawfish with a side of alligator sausages. The sausage pieces were so small the waitress barely knew what our order was because you could not see them, and the sausage pieces totaled about the size of a small boiled egg. $4 upcharge basically equaled $1 per piece. Meh. The Cajun seasoning had nice flavor and the spice level was a nice kick. I probably won't try it again.
Delicious! Crawfish were a bit small, but expected for this early in the season. Shrimp were very flavorful also. Will definitely be back!
This was really good food! And Friendly service too
I've been to a few seafood places here in Utah and none have ever tasted as amazing as Bucket. My husband and I have been coming here for years and keep coming back. Waitors could do a lot better but other than that, food is amazing and definitely not bland like all the other places we have been too.
This place is amazing. I had takeout from them in 2020 and it was really good. But eating in the restaurant is even better. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who likes seafood. I'm definitely going to go back.
We had a group of 6 people, the food was mediocre, and none of us ordered more than a pound but were charged for a pound and a half for each of us. My daughter ordered a half pound of crab legs, and a half pound of crawfish, and I ordered a pound of crab legs. My crab legs were half what hers were. I was charged for a pound and a half. It was pretty good service. The seating is hard and uncomfortable. Overall I would never go back. Very disappointing. My bill for 6 people was 257 dollars.
This is the best version of this on the valley. It’s really messy and time consuming to deshell the shellfish so we just get scallops and clams. Problem solved. Be sure to get bread to sop up the extra sauce. Maybe even dunk a wing on it.
