Had dinner reservations for after Hadestown. We were promptly seated. Our waiter was very attentive and his service was excellent. The dinner was delicious. All in all it was a very good evening!

Worst experience of my life. 45 minutes to get drinks, 55 minutes to get mediocre food—for a table of 2. The serve seemed upset that we weren’t being patient.

We go to Brio quite often, and are never disappointed! Last night our server was Gabriel, and he was especially good. The food was really amazing, as usual. We love the atmosphere, as even when it is really busy, you feel like it is intimate!

Love it we love thid

Have been disappointed in service and food the last three times I have been to Brio. It has always been my favorite go to before a play, but questioning it I will go because of service. Twice I had reservations and still had to wait 40 min and had to eat fast to make it to play. Last night we got seated but then waited 30 min to have our order taken.

Very poor service. It took over 45 minutes for our order to be taken. We were there 3 hours total. Bill was mixed up and had to be corrected. Food was mediocre at best.

Downtown SLC had become quite depressed. The restaurant was out of most wines, and some food selections, service was poor no silverware which we had to ask for. No ice bucket for our white wine, we were sitting outside. Had to ask for several items from the waiter. The prices are also expensive $45 for a steak. Wouldn’t recommend this location. In the past Brio has done well but times have changed.

Ordered the filet mignon to be cooked medium and when it was brought out, it was cooked medium well to well. I brought this up to the waiter and he began arguing with me about the steak. I told him that medium steak should be a little pink but his response was “I’m trying to teach you how steaks are cooked.” As if I’ve never ordered a steak before in my life. At this point I gave up and he left. He came back several minutes later and told me he could have it cooked to my liking if I wasn’t satisfied, which is what I was asking for the first time. At this point it wasn’t worth it as we were almost done with our meal anyway. We finished our meal and I left my steak untouched. This was probably the worst service experience I’ve had at any restaurant.

We had to ask for utensils which was unusual. Very pleased with shrimp and eggplant starter dish. Lamb chops were ordered medium rare and came out closer to medium but very flavorful. Coffee was not warm at all- pretty much cold

Server was new and didn’t know what he was doing. Food was great. Ambiance was great.
