We were visiting Salt Lake City and were craving for good Indian food so decided to try this restaurant.love the overall vibes, service was good. Food was good too but it was a bit mild for me. It felt like it was altered according to the American test preferences. All the curries we ordered Chicken and lamb were lacking the kick of spices and chili. Other than that it was overall a good experience. Try it if you are in town.

We really enjoyed this place. Food was great, yellow daal had a special touch and vegetable korma in coconut gravy was delicious, though on sweeter side, it went very well with Naan and rice. Service was excellent. Entire staff was very friendly and very enthusiastic. Overall a great experience.

The service was great and the food even better - definitely some of the best Indian food we've had stateside. I would recommend the malai kofta.

Was looking for a good place to eat while on Vacation in Salt Lake City and I found it!! I stopped at The Bombay House Salt Lake City location on a Monday night after reading great reviews. It was busy but not too busy that I had to wait to be seated. After being seated I was greeted by a very nice server I wish I would of gotten his name so I could give him credit for his great service. He was busy but had a smile on his face and friendly demeanor. I ordered the Assorted Snacks for an appetizer all three items were delicious but I have to say the Vegetable Pakora was my favorite this is the one I thought I would dislike the most but it was delicious. I got the Strawberry Lassi for a beverage (forgot to take a picture) it was nice and creamy would of gotten another one if I wasn’t so full. For the Entree I ordered the Chicken Makhani (Mild) it came with rice and I ordered Garlic Naan also. It was the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I loved that they put cilantro in everything. To end things I ordered Kheer for Dessert I had never had cardamom flavored rice pudding before and I really liked it. The owner came to all the tables to check on everyone. He was very friendly and appreciative that I had come to eat there. I will be eating leftovers in the morning and I will get to experience this deliciousness all over again. Overall Food and Experience was a 10 out of 10!!

It was very busy and took us awhile to get seated and get the attention of a server, but it was totally worth the wait. Our server more than made up for the slow start and accommodated our every request promptly and was very sweet too.

My server’s name is Naysan. He is a wonderful server very attentive. It was my 15-wedding anniversary Ski trip. I love to try different cultures food. This was a first for us, but we dined here 3 nights in a row. I was greeted with a smile and the wait was under 5 minutes each time. Every time a pitcher of water with lime so classy. The beer was from a bottle but no complains here. We tried almost every item on their menu, and everything was great. The bread was wonderful though I think for dipping I preferred the butter style. The appetizer was so perfect we could not just pick one. So, we order all of them each time. Please never change the entrees were phenomenal. I can’t wait to go back really perfect, Thanks again A+.

My family loves this restaurant. It is our favorite place. The staff is amazing, and so helpful. They have Vegan, and Gluten-free dishes as well.

They take their spice levels very seriously here. Thread ligthly.

This is by FAR the best Indian restaurant on the Wasatch Front! We have tried so many other spots from Davis County to Utah County and find ourselves always coming back to Bombay House and particularly love the Salt Lake location. The food is outstanding. I have read several reviews that are knocking the service and I just have to say that, like almost all other restaurants in the area, Bombay House is suffering from staff shortages, so there tends to be a long wait, but if you pay attention to what is going on in the labor market, then you understand and can make allowances for these hard workers. That being said, the service and staff is so friendly and wonderful. Our favorite it Nassan (sp?). He is so kind, accommodating, and always makes sure our food is to our liking and is willing to make whatever change in necessary to ensure our experience is top notch. We highly recommend this restaurant and applaud their staff for doing their level best in tough times!
