Food was appalling and I was embarrassed at how much the quality of The Rest has tumbled. For years The Rest has been my go-to for out-of-town guests, but I won't risk the embarrassment again. Food was inedible. I had the burrata starter and the croutons were so hard I couldn't safely chew without breaking a tooth. The almond encrusted scallops had no almonds. Heirloom tomatoes in both dishes were overwhelming- I got about a pound of sloppily cut, unseasoned tomatoes in each. The drinks were poorly mixed with wrong ingredients (ginger beer in what was supposed to be a lemongrass blueberry mocktail). I was too embarrassed to complain about the food in front of my guests, so I just left hungry. Our server was lovely, but inattentive and didn't question why food and drinks were left untouched. This experience is a 180 from the excellent dinner just a few months ago. So bummed.

What a fun place to go. Highly recommend. The staff was great. I wish I could remember our server's name but Lydia, the hostess, was awesome. Will definitely go again. The beer can chicken was phenomenal.

Great staff and food. Definitely want to go back!!! A place not to miss.

Didnt eat the food but the vibe was cool. Drinks were hit or miss but definitely a fun experience

Our mixologist/host took what we wanted in a drink and turned it into an interactive experience. How? One of our drinks was on fire. Steel straw served as a muddler for the mint. The meal was also interactive in that we could compose each steak piece into a unique composition. One warning, tomato tartine was spicy, and I don’t mean Utah spicy.

Great drinks and great service. The pork tenderloin was a bit dry, but the duck was perfect. The sides were creative and well seasoned

This place is amazing but the booths are small. So if you're fat, you're in trouble.

We had a reservation and it still took 45 mins to be seated. Very overpriced and honestly not worth it.

Food was over priced for what it was. All the dishes our group ordered were underwhelming. The duck was cooked poorly and the risotto wasn’t creamy. The service was so slow we were at the table for 2.5 hours after waiting 30 min after our reservation time to be seated.

The ambiance is fantastic. The food was completely uninspired. It felt as if the chef was "reaching" for fine dining cuisine, but fell dismally short. The service was good, but did not make up for the lack-luster food. I wish we had only gone for cocktails at the bar and had dinner elsewhere.
