Awesome coffee! I got a moch and it was delicious. The atmosphere was quiet om a Saturday morning between 8:30 and 9:30am. If you're in the area, it's worth the stop for sure. They make everything everything scratch!
This place is fantastic! I won 2nd place at their first annual chess tournament!
I tried Blue Copper 2000 for the first time this morning.I ordered an iced Americano (which was pretty simple and good) and a slice of triple berry coffee cake for breakfast. The coffee cake, however, was so overly sweet that I couldn’t even finish it. The icing, which was not needed, felt like pure corn syrup drizzled on top and I was a little grossed out, so I just tossed it (not a big deal at all).I’m more than willing to try Blue Copper again but the baked goods are something to look twice at before you purchase.
Second time getting iced lattes from this location- I’m not super picky and can drink bad coffee most of the time, but these taste like muddy water with the most poorly pulled espresso shot a human could produce. Service was amazing and everyone was polite, but the coffee was undrinkable.
The space is quaint with ample seating inside and outdoors. The social environment is young and seemingly professional. The chai tea iced with whole milk and almond milk was very nice. Sweeter than some who have more of the spicy taste to them. I will admit though, the reason I will go back without a question was the raspberry breakfast cake I indulged with. It was so good you would have thought it was the first meal of the two of us who had purchased it, mind you neither offered to share with others in our part, as we both started with the face of shock and "no it cannot be this good!"Both exclaimed, "This cake is so good" but didn't come up for air or to speak until it was completely gone including some of the napkin it was served on. Rich flavor with some weight to the pastry but not too heavy try their pastries at your own risk. Lord knows I am going to gain a bit of a belly at this coffee house.
Definitely the worst coffee I have had in a long time. We ordered an iced mocha and a cappuccino. Both went in the trash 3/4 full on the way out the door.
Very friendly service and excellent coffee! Loved the retro 80's style. It's a small space but with lots of seats. There's also a picnic table outside to sit at. I've been to almost all the coffee shops in SLC and this is one of my favorites!
Very good third wave coffee here.
We go there every weekend. Love the staff, vibe and coffee. Damn good coffee! Strong! They will fill your mug now (never know with covid) and you'll save a little.
I used to frequent this location very often as I lived one block away & was in the neighborhood and decided to stop in- I love to support the local coffee shops. Today I was met with the strangest vibes, a mopey barista who took my order…ordered a large, paid 7$ for my latte which was delivered in the medium cup. Super bummed. I used to recommend all the time..like c’mon you guys :( my daily coffee is my pick me up and today I’m just hella disappointed..enough to leave this review.
