Although I think the food is pretty good I had an experience there a couple weeks ago that has kind of ruined it for me so will no longer patronize any Apollo Burgers. So that is the reason I have given them only 1 star.At about 9:00-9:30 today (May 24th, 2022) I went into the establishment to place a "to go" order. I stood in line and waited my turn to order. When it was my turn at the counter, I moved up to it and the person working the orders (Older women with blonde (ish) hair informed me that Apollo has changed the rules and doesn't allow animals inside any longer. I can understand why you are doing this but the order taker waited until I got up to the ordering counter and told me that they do not allow any animals in the establishment any longer and she was not very nice about it. Nevermind the fact that my dog is a certified Emotional Support Animal and I'm in a power chair because of an amputation so it's kind of obvious that I am handicapped. As she was telling me this I could not get a word in to tell her that my dog is a certified support animal, so I just left to avoid any hassles.
Food was good! Took a quite a bit longer than expected to get our food considering the restaurant was empty at the time, but the experience overall was good. The staff were quite friendly as well.We each got black bean burgers. I recommend!
Good service, lame burger. I should have gone with the burger the young man recommended when he took my order. NO! I had to go with the Hawaiian.. stupes! While the pineapple, burger combo would have been nice, the ham (sliced thin) and teriyaki sauce, SPOILED it. Like dipping your burger in syrup (no flavor to the T Sauce) and eating it. NOPE! Fail.The burger itself (meat) was thin and overcooked, but this is fast food so my expectations were met. I came, I tried, I disliked.
Not the most expensive burger, fry portions are large, drinks are good size. Food quality is what you pay for. If you are in a hurry for something better than fast-food, this place is great. I really like the Apollo sauce.
What makes this place unique is the specialty burgers. If you are the type that likes extras on a hamburger then you will like Apollo burgers. Ordered the Utah burger which was topped with slices of pastrami and had cuts of gyro and slices of bacon. Liked the taste of the combo.
What could be better than a juicy burger with mounds of pastrami, fresh crisp lettuce, tomatoes and crispy onions? Put some 'fry sauce' on it! Heaven in your mouth(of your mouth is big enough)
On 28 OCT 2021 My family and I stopped at the Apollo Burger at 379 S. Main, St. and the way they treated us acting they didn't want to take our order. With the way they treated us they should be fired I'm a disabled ARMY VETERAN and the way we were treated was very rude and disrespectful. I'll never eat at this place again! Try hiring American citizens!
I ordered a sandwich and it was pretty good, but next time I’ll just order a burger because I not too fond of cold sandwiches.
Haven't yet tried lunch there, but for breakfast, it turned out to be a good option. Quality food and service and reasonably priced for that area.
We have discovered and love the breakfast options available at the downtown location. Everything is always made fresh and served hot.
