My experience has been hit and miss with the coffee. Sometimes I love it, sometimes it's okay. Absolute love their breakfast sandwiches though. Also comes with a good selection of fruit and is pretty filling and reasonably priced. Also live the location and the atmosphere. The decor and everything is so beautiful and unique. My only wish is that it was closer to me! I also live their Nina Simone!
Prices are a little high, but nothing outrageous and I still keep coming back. Great tea selections and always on point with there coffee creations. They also have a great breakfast sandwich which is quite delicious as well. There is minimal seating inside so can get slightly crowded. There is five tables outside as well that can be used. The staff has always been kinda and courteous and awesome as well!!!
Excellent coffee and kind service. Love the atmosphere. If only the rest of SLC was this cool. Alas, we are in the wind.
PRODUCT: Extremely delicious coffee. Clearly well made, and they come in 12oz and 20z sizes. I'm usually a 16oz gal and got a 12; almost went back for an additional 20 because it was that good. Definitely one of the top 3 best coffees I've had in all of Salt Lake.SERVICE: Very friendly service, and the employees appear to be having a great time (whether through body language or tone). The guy who made my drink even told me outright that he loves to be there, which is always a good sign in a company!VIBE: So much thought and effort was put into their decor and interior. This place is obviously curated and it elevates the experience so much. The theme is very consistent, and has that delightful gothic flavor to it. The social energy within the cafe was also great. There was a good combination of people working and people socializing, and the table setup is conducive to that environment.Alchemy Coffee, you have a new biggest fan! <3
Amazing coffee available in a variety of sizes allowing for optimal caffeine intake. Great cosy ambiance, although it can be a bit dark later in the day. Do you're self a favor and support this long standing local coffee shop.
I visited Alchemy while visiting SLC. I really enjoyed the vibe! I ordered a Flat White and it's a more traditional flat white, which is perfect. I love when coffee shops really understand how to make different types of coffee drinks! I also loved all the skull artwork they were featuring too. I should've figured out who the artist was because their work was really cool!
Great neighborhood coffee spot with vegan options! This is a veggie sandwich with avo and hummus, but they also have SO many vegan pastries.I also appreciate that they ask “for here or to go” to reduce on plastic for those who are eating in :)
Amazing scone , coffee and ambiance. I love this place, reminds me so much of a cute place from Portland where I am from.
I used to live in the neighborhood about 10 years ago, and this was my go-to coffee shop every morning. This was my first trip back to SLC since then, and I made a point of stopping in both mornings. I missed this place! Alchemy isn't just the best coffee shop in SLC, it's right up there for being one of the best little coffee shops anywhere. Their espresso is so rich and has this amazingly complex flavor profile. Wow -- delicious! For a rather small shop, they also have an incredible selection of really fresh, high quality baked goods, not just a basket of plastic-wrapped cookies and muffins often offered by most other places. To top it off, Alchemy has a super cozy atmosphere, with exposed old brick and perfectly eclectic decor. And I can't neglect to mention the wonderfully friendly staff. Thank you! If you're a coffee connoisseur, go here!
This place is amazing! I got an espresso and a breakfast sandwich. The espresso had great flavor and wasn't watery like a lot of shops make. The sandwich was probably the best bagel sandwich I've ever had! The aoli sauce they put on it was SO good! I highly recommend this place.
