I was in Provo for a few hours and decided to try this place for lunch. Really good breakfast for lunch kind of place. I had the chicken and waffles with the buttermilk syrup. The syrup was a little to savory for chicken and waffles. I requested the maple syrup which I thought paired better with the meal. My daughter had the citrus salad and biscuits and gravy. She liked both. The service friendly and quick and the environment is nice as well.
This is a yummy place to get a little fancier southern food. I got the chicken and waffles and they were great. The chicken is better than the waffles but overall they were delicious. We also got their chicken sandwich. It was huge. We wish we would’ve tried one of their sodas because they have a huge variety of specialty flavors you can get. Next time we’ll get one. Overall, this was place was great. A wonderful restaurant to try in downtown Provo
This place was amazing!! Hands down best fried chicken I have had in a very long time! Portions are huge, sides are delicious and staff were amazing. We had Corbin as our waiter, try to get him, he's terrific! We were just passing through, but will stop here again next time. Last thought, we were there as a family, but I think this would also be a great date place. Price were great given the size of the portions.
I enjoyed this place for the first time. It’s a little more pricey but not too bad. It’s really delicious. I ordered the 22 Club sandwich. I got Cajun fries with it. The sandwich and the fries were really tasty. They have a decent size menu and I thought the portion was pretty filling. I would love to come back and try some other stuff as well. I would also ordered the 22 club sandwich again too.
Biscuits were the best part with honey butter. Chicken was salty and a little tough, not melt in your mouth fried chicken. Very noisy. Felt expensive. We probably won’t go again.
We got seated at a table with another couple that was halfway through their meal... To add to this, the tight spacing of the tables resulted in the couple on the table next to us being awkwardly close to us as well. It was a major fail. The highlight of the night was seeing the reactions of every other couple being shown their seat and their awkward looks back and forth. “Great!”, “Awesome!”, “Okay!” we’re some of the first words out of their mouths after sitting down. This kind of seating could be acceptable in some situations but for Valentine’s Day dinner when it’s “Reservations Only”?! You’d think not being sat awkwardly close to other people wouldn’t be too much to ask for given the occasion. Even the staff was having a hard time figuring out what food was going to who due to the poor seating. We hoped the food would off-set the poor seating arrangements but being that this review is happening, that tells you what you need to know. Like others around us, we ate as fast as we could just to get out of there, rather than enjoying our meal. It’s actually a genies business model when it comes to the bottom line for Station 22. Pack as many people in as possible and make it unpleasant to get them to leave quickly to get the next party in. The higher table turnover is good for the staff too, more tips. Not sure who to blame here, so I’ll just blame myself for picking a place where the customer experience appears to be on the bottom of the priority list.
We enjoyed the wings, fries, and cauliflower. The burger was a bit too sweet.
Oh my...YUM!! Everything we tasted was so full of flavor, we couldn't pick a favorite. We don't live close but will be taking the drive now for this new date spot. Atmosphere was great, and food is our new crave. Great find!
Amazing food and welcoming staff. We had plans at another restaurant around the corner who couldn't accommodate us. So we found Station 22 and we're WOWED. The food was so good and the staff was very nice and explained the menu choices.
When we went in 2015 the food was lacking. This time it was excellent! Our party of five had various items and each person was happy with their choice. I chose the mixed berry salad and the toppings were colorful and generous! The honey vinaigrette dressing was perfect for it and the waiter even brought more when I asked. Other entries included chicken, biscuits and gravy, a Farm breakfast platter, waffles with berries and cream and the 22 Club sandwich with fries. See my pictures - there was a lot of food! I tasted several items and they were so much better this time around. My salad was so big I had to take half of it home. Others also took boxes. I asked the waiter if the restaurant had changed hands and he said it had and that the chefs are wonderful now. I agree! Station 22 is a great choice when you are in downtown Provo.
