Best dinner rolls around! They are soft and extremely addicting because they are delicious. All of their desserts are good too of course.Their cafe is pretty decent too. The sandwiches are VERY expensive though and they are very small. The sandwiches on croissants are bigger and yummy so stick with those. The Chicken Salad sandwich is seriously one of the best I have ever had. I would eat here a lot more often for lunch if it were a little cheaper.
Shirley's is a great local bakery. The sweet rolls are top notch. Soft, chewy, and tender bread topped with a generous amount of fluffy frosting. They are reasonably priced as well, about $1/ each for a large dinner roll sized bun. I LOVE Shirley’s! They have the best sweet rolls! My absolute favorite are the blueberry rolls with cream cheese frosting but I also love the cinnamon and raspberry. You really can’t go wrong with any of their desserts. Yum!
Love the feel of this Cafe! Homemade desserts are heavenly and my cobb salad was huge and filling! Highly recommend
We have used Shirley's for years. We used them for the a wedding a year ago and were very impressed. Recently we bought packages of the 20 pack cinnamon rolls and even though they still tasted very good, some of the rolls were very small vs others. They were not true 20 packs. Also, don't rely on the prices online. They don't honor their prices listed on their website when you call in your order. As long as you are prepared to pay a lot more and get less then you will be happy. There are other options for cinnamon rolls out there that aren't so disappointing. One example is pictured below from breakfast.
I usually love this bakery. There rolls are awesome. Today I had a completely different experience. We bought a walnut twist. When breaking it apart it was really dry. One bite and it was inedible. I went to the register and asked for a fresh one. The girl refused to exchange it or give my money back and flat out told me she didn't believe me. Although all she had to do was touch it. Very unhappy with the customer service I received from them. Apparently they don't stand behind there products here.
The ginger cookies are the best! The eclairs are amazing! They used to do individual cheese sticks that were amazing but now they are in bigger bags now I haven't gotten those yet since I normally only get two at a time lol!
I had a chicken and wild rice soup and a chicken salad sandwich. Both were delicious. They also carry the good rootbeer on tap so that's a huge plus.
I love their rolls and sweet rolls, but it’s impossible to get any service. I’ve tried calling them many times, and each time I call, the phone just rings and rings for about 20 minutes before I finally give up. I guess I’ll take my business elsewhere, since I live 20 minutes away and can’t just pop by to place an order.
5 star food items. Best around. Customer service booo. I guess when your foods so good service doesn’t matter. I’ve been calling for days. No one ever picks up!
