This is my first time in Provo and we tried this place and The food is amazing, good amount and the employee very nice and polite. I will recommend this place for a good meal, I love it
Kind of surprised to see the many other positive reviews here. I thought the customer service was great, but really didn't love the food. I got the chicken and beef combo. The food was just wet and soggy and not very good. My wife got the veggie "delight" combo. She expected some yummy vegetables, but all it was was a ton of soggy white cabbage. She didn't take more than one bite.
I loved it! The flavors were great, plus the amount of food they give you is generous and will definitely last us two meals. I don't usually like teriyaki sauce, but whatever they use is PERFECT. Definitely going back.
Ordered the Chicken Terriyaki with 1/2 yakisoba noodles 1/2 rice. The combo came with a drink and two egg rolls. So good!Has a delicious homie flavor. Considering this is in Provo, there was easy access parking. Fun relaxed environment. Really friendly service.
Not bad. Essentially the same as Osaka in university mall, but about half the food since they put cabbage in the trays. They only included 4 small shrimps in my meal. If you live nearby and can walk, this would be good to go to, but I would personally choose Osaka first. There was a bit of surprise with the cheese stick. It has some sort of mystery sausage inside, possibly a smoked turkey. My son really enjoyed it. Overall, pretty good.
Q One Teriyaki Express was surprisingly tasty given it's small footprint. My wife and I each did combo plates with their Teriyaki Chicken. I got shrimp, she got beef, and we loved it all. The Teriyaki sauce was sweeter than normal which I really liked, and they used a lot of it. It made everything very flavorful. Plus, it's not as thick or as 'heavy' as a lot of commercial Teriyaki. The chicken is grilled and I don't remember if it was lightly breaded, either way it was super good. The beef is small chunks of steak, not flank steak like you usually get strips of, more like chuck steak. I'm not a beef expert, but whatever it was, I'd get it again. I didn't get as much shrimp as I would have liked, but that comes with the territory when you order shrimp.Their spring rolls were also very tasty. They, along with everything else, came out piping hot and freshly cooked, which is the only way to eat spring rolls.Overall, I would always choose this over classic takeout like Panda Express, and would sometimes choose this over pricier Chinese dine-in. I do wish their vegetables had more variety, or that they had some extra sauce options, but I'll definitely be going back again.
This place is oh my goodness delicious. Their crispy chicken isn’t breaded chicken, it is seared to perfection crisp. Same thing with the beef- and perfect sticky rice, egg rolls too- not standard food- perfect flavors and textures. I live a half hour away but I’ll be back!!
I walked into The Hut and wasn’t sure what to get. A Q One employee called me over and asked I I wanted a free chicken sample. It was good, so I decided to get a meal there. I got the chicken and shrimp teriyaki combo meal, which included grilled chicken and shrimp along with rice and cabbage, as well as 4 egg rolls, sweet and sour sauce, and a medium fountain soda. The employees brought our food out to us. The food was reasonably priced. I thought that it was a great amount of food to eat for lunch—not too much or too little. The meat was crispy. The shrimp was perfect, and the chicken was very good—some of it was a little stringy or fatty, but most of it was lean and tasted great. It definitely was better than other teriyaki places I have been too. I’ll probably be coming back with friends.
Very good food, plentiful and inexpensive -- quality chicken and shrimp; haven't tried the beef (yet) -- nice atmosphere in an old repurposed building. Very pleasant staff -- GOOD BUY --
Great roll deals and the food looked great on the menu, The hostess and chef were so nice and they hooked it up with the food, but it was ok. The rolls weren’t very tight and fell apart but it wasn’t the worst. However, the reason for the low stars is because the in store ordering experience was SO AWKWARD…The store was very much open according to the signs and google. My friends and I came in and all of the lights except the kitchen were off and the hostess jumps up to ask if we’re to go or stay. We were going to stay but as we sat down (in the dark mind you) she turns the lights on and grabs menus for us. The really awkward part if that wasn’t enough was that there was no music, no atmospheric sound. Just the fans and kitchen sounds. We ended up taking it to go because no one wants to eat in a place like that. It literally felt like this shop was an entrance into the back rooms if you feel me. I highly recommend ordering online and picking up if you decide to eat here.
