The place is very spacious. You can sit wherever you want and you have to go up to the front to order. We got the peri peri pizza both small and big size and also their Hawaiian pizza. The peri peri pizza looked different and it tasted different - I would recommend choosing smaller size because the bigger size was more greasy. The Hawaiian pizza tasted good though and had way more cheese. The crust part was burnt for all of them and so the crust wasn't good. I wish they had some sort of sauce for pizza (like hot sauce or parmesian cheese) but they only had catchup. You need passcode to go to the bathroom. There was flour underneath the pizza - I'm guessing it was to prevent their pizza from sticking but it made eating very messy. The people were nice. When you order your food, the people working there will bring out the food to your table. They have pineapple cream soda and everyone liked it. The interior is fun to look at and the furniture seems pretty new. The place is clean and they have other food besides pizza, so it's worth a try to check out this place.
This was my very first time trying food from Zimbabwe and it was a wonderful experience, the flavors strong and delicious, softly spicy and amazing customer service. Hands down the best garlic chicken and tandoori chicken I have tried ( I love this type of food, simply the Zimbabwe style is the first time I try it) it was amazing and the Roasted Mealie was simply wonderful. To top it the baked pudding it was simply PERFECT! This restaurant and their wonderful recipes and customer service are a MUST for a great date!
We got the chicken Alfredo bowl and the 1/4 chicken meal with fries. Both were amazing. The food tasted so good. Definitely coming back. Best fries we have ever had!
We had a wonderful time at Pogos. The lady that owns it is the sweetest ever she goes out of her way to make sure you are satisfied. The food was great ?? The environment is clean and beautiful orange and blue decor. We got many items and just shared it family style .The bread was cheesy and flavorful, they’re definitely better then average breadsticks .We got the tandoori pizza and wow ?All the spices and flavors were delicious. If you like Indian food you’ll love this pizza. They have many other choices as well.The chicken was good I loved the sauce it came with. It had such a unique yummy flavor. I was surprised how much I liked the grilled chicken bowl I almost didn’t even get this one and to my surprise it was my favorite thing. The flavor was sensational. I really enjoyed the steamed cauliflower paired with all the toppings and sauce . Mmmm trust me on this one .I honestly couldn’t get enough of the Greek salad. It was scrumptious.The BBQ bites are a great addition to any of the entrees . They were made perfectly .And if you love Baked pudding this is the one . Mmmm it had buttery caramel sauce on top and it was just oooey gooey goodness ?All the ingredients are fresh . Nothing is from a can . I can’t wait to come back and try more things .
Delicious food in generous shareable portions. We had Peri Peri chicken breast and Peri Peri pizza, salad, and spicy fries. Delish! The atmosphere is fun and colorful.
My husband and I tried Pogos for the first time last night, and were very impressed! The restaurant is vibrant and inviting. The staff is friendly and gave great recommendations. We tried the Alfredo pizza and the half chicken with tandoori sauce, roasted butternut squash, “mealie”, and pogos bread. Our meals were hot, tasty, and we loved every bite! We will be going back! Pogos was a great dining experience at an affordable price.
Yummiest chicken ever! Pictured is the sweet chili wrap but I think the sandwiches are better. All of their sides and drinks are to die for, and the restaurant is cute and always clean!
Had to stop by when we saw 5 stars. So glad we did. AMAZING!I had the chicken breast with mild Peri Peri sauce. Chicken so moist and the sauce so good. I can't wait until it's bottled, owners said that day will come. Has roasted butternut squash, yummy.Husband had 1/4 chicken and lemon herb Peri Peri sauce. Also great! I snuck his Pogo bread. So good we got another order to go.This will be a new regular stop! Owners and their family were so kind and the staff was great.
My husband and I tried this place for the first time at their Valentine’s Day event and it was so good! I got the 1/4 chicken with mild peri peri and the sides were Pogo bread and Butter it squash. It was all so amazing! Sharon the owner makes you feel at home. We even got to hear her sing. You have to try it out and make sure to order the Baked Pudding! ? ?
I had the Tandoori Chicken pizza and the Pogo bread. It was good, the crust is thinner then I like and didn't have much flavor but the toppings were all really good. Really like the Pogo bread too.
