I got the Nashville hot and waffle fries and I will definitely be coming back. The sandwich was super juicy and the flavors were phenomenal! Spicy with a hint of sweet with a super soft potato bun that held up perfectly. The fires had a Cajun like seasoning and a delicious honey mustard like sauce for dipping. I really enjoyed everything I ate and wish I had more room to eat more!
Great chicken sandwich place. The restaurant is a little different since it’s mixed with Waffle love, but it’s very tasty! I recommend the scones and the classic sandwich. The loaded fries are also great!
When my husband and I crave fried chicken sandwich, we think of love birds. Besides slim chicken, love birds has become our go-to. Our experience has been great at love birds whether it is dine in or take out. However, just yesterday, we ordered Hellfire chicken sandwich like we always did, but for some reasons it was WAY TOO spicy. Our friends who had the same Hellfire chicken sandwich felt like so. I feel that they made our sandwich a Deathfire spice which is the spiciest level you can choose from. The spice kicked in with our first bite (when usually it kicks in half way through the sandwich). We had to take a few breaks in between (drinking milk/juice) to calm it down. After finishing the sandwich, I took a few minutes until I could talk again. Afterwards my friend and I had stomach ache. I spent a quarter of the next day in the bathroom. I felt like I had food poisoning. If only I had known they spiced their chicken up that day, I would have ordered a Hot spice instead, but how would we know?
Sad to leave this kind of review because this place has potential…But we have given it several chances and the food takes suuuuppppeeerrr long every time… like 40 minutes long. Not to mention we have seen the ther people ask for refunds and leave because it took so long to get their food as well.When we finally did get our food tonight, there was only enough sauce for like two of the wings. As you can see in the picture, the sauce was just poured on top of a couple of them… not nearly enough sauce, wings not tossed in the sauce, 40 minute wait… we probably won’t give Lovebirds any more chances :(
Best chicken sandwich in the whole Utah Valley. A bit pricey for a sandwich, but the portions are huge. I really want to give 5 stars, but my only complaint is that ever since Love Birds changed locations it seems that they left some of the magic behind. Not saying that this new location is bad by any means, just that before going to Love Birds was an experience and now its just going to a chicken place to grab a good sandwich.
I love Nashville hot chicken sandwich! The fries and fried pickles are delicious.Their loaded fries are pretty good too, but don’t get them unless you are planning on eating them at the restaurant, they don’t travel well.We got their scones, and they are just okay. They would be better if they gave caramel instead of honey to dip them in.Overall I love this place, definitely recommend it!
I got the medium heat Nashville hot with fried green beans and it was divine! It was super duper flavorful and a big sandwich too. The spice level was a perfect amount of tasty and spicy. I absolutely recommend and it’s absolutely worth the price! I can’t wait to go back and get the hottest possible chicken. :)
Super disappointed about this place. We are big pretty bird fans and hoped this place would compare.. The first time we came, I got the chicken nuggets and my bf got the Nashville hot sandwhich. The chicken nuggets were sub par (I'd take chic-fil-a over them and im not a chick fil a fan). The chicken on my bfs sandwich was over cooked/burnt on the outside. The fries were the only note worthy item.. perfectly crispy with a nice seasoning..We decided to give it a second shot. My bf ordered the same, but this time the chicken was well cooked, and he enjoyed the pickles and sauce. I got the early bird which was miserably mediocre. Nothing special. Ingredients didn't seem fresh. Won't be coming back.
The chicken sandwiches, normally, are 5 stars all the way. Even the last sandwich was a 4 star sandwich. The 1 star for this review deals specifically with the online ordering. Apparently they are out of the dark meat. The sandwich I ordered, online, comes with a boneless chicken thigh, but what I got was a breast. Still decent, but not what I wanted or was expecting. That there is NOTHING online indicating that the dark meat isn't currently available really chaps me. Big time.
I ordered the regular nashville hot sandwich, not the chicken little. How does this cost $10? I’ve never had this issue of serving size at this place. Might as well go to burger king
