Not gonna lie, I was expecting better. I got a standard latte, and for a 12 oz cup they put in only 1 shot. Not one double shot (which is only 2 oz and is standard at most places), only one single shot. It was like drinking off white milk. Barely any coffee taste.If I go again I'll have to request a double or triple so it won't be so weak.
First time in, I ordered The Godfather Cappuccino based off of a recommendation. A cappuccino is supposed to be light and ~50% foam. I didn’t get any foam at all. The person taking my friends order was really confused when he ordered a drink without one of the flavors. Overall weird vibe of the place and I probably won’t be back.
From day one I was excited about this place. But every time I go in or go through the drive thru, I get angry looks and horrible feels. The people here ask, “would you like to leave a tip today”. Well, you didn’t smile or be nice and it takes you 2 seconds to fill up a cup of drip coffee for me… So no…. Also you lost my business. Very dissatisfied. I would have rather given my business to you but honestly, the people at Starbucks have a better attitude.
Blown away by this place. I came here this past Sunday to drink coffee and study, and I ordered a hot white chocolate macadamia nut latte—absolutely delicious. While I was there, an older gentleman walked in with some boxes and after a brief conversation, he (Jimmy) told us he is the owner. He then proceeded to give me and my friend a tour of the back of the house and showed us all of the different coffee beans, which are shipped fresh twice a week. He was sipping a cappuccino while he gave the tour, and then called to the baristas “Hey, make these two gentleman a cappucino!”…. and the cappuccino was incredibly fresh. Do yourself a favor and come here.
This is my favorite coffee place. The coffee is delicious and the staff remember me and my order. Getting coffee here is the highlight of my day!
Smooth, rich and bold espresso. Just the way I like it. Almond milk mocha was just right not over powered by the chocolate. Highly recommended
First time at a juice n Java, this review is in regard to their smoothies. Server was very friendly, but smoothies were not good at all. Their fruit smoothies seemed to be simply ice flavored with fruit syrup, they are extremely sweet. For the price ($5 for a small) I was expecting a real fruit smoothie like something you'd find at Jamba.
The place is good, I've been coming here for most of my life (for a while it was the only place to get decent coffee). I'm glad they fixed their staff issue, the old baristas were rude and unprofessional, the new ones are much better.
I absolutely love the staff and coffee. I highly recommend juice and java.
Excellent coffee and kind staff. In fact, if you catch the staff on the right day, they're about as uplifting as the coffee. The only reason for a 4 star is the lack of anyone being able to calculate percentages for a tip. I end up giving less in rounded down dollars than I would otherwise pay out in a percentage tip... Which is still generous by tipping standards. But, gd if one is asking for a tip, one should learn percentages.
