From Hawaii so I’ve had my share of plate lunches, and Hugry Hawaiian delivers. The teri beef was some of the best I’ve ever had (tender and not too sweet), the kalua pork was ono, and Mac salad was good too. Great to have a taste of home.
This place has ruined all other Hawaiian BBQ places for me! I already started digging in before I could snap a pic for this review. The staff is friendly, the portions are big, and the food is great! Definitely try the spam musubi and the garlic chicken.
Good people! Nice and friendly! The pork was great and the teriyaki sauce! Did not like the teriyaki chicken texture or the chicken pieces. Some were hard or chewy not very tender. High prices for the portion size.

I normally don't like Hawaiian food, but, this is dang good food! I find myself craving it. The garlic chicken is a thing of beauty! They're like the adult version of chicken tenders. The macaroni salad is amazing, and I don't like macaroni salad, but, wow!!! I love the teriyaki chicken too. I've been 3 times in two weeks and each time the service is great, and the food is consistent.Their donuts and cake were just okay, and the specialty lemonade was average.

I honestly don’t know how this place has more than 3 stars. The meat was good and the MEAT portions were a decent size but it’s definitely not worth the cost! This 2 meat plate was $16.95. They seriously skimped out on the rice and the macaroni salad was the worst I’ve ever had. It tasted like it was just macaroni, carrots, peas, Mayo and pepper mixed together. The macaroni was still crunchy too. I would choose Mo Bettahs over this in a heart beat. Plus it’s so much cheaper!! The spam masubi was also the worst that I’ve had. It wasn’t sealed correctly and just had seasonings instead of sauce. I gave it 2 stars cause the meat was good and the lemonade I had was good too. The lemonade was also overpriced too. I probably won’t be returning anytime soon.
The Hungry Hawaiian is rad to the bone. The food here is really really really good, and the service is great too. Get the Garlic Chicken; it’ll blow your mind.Also, they have live Hawaiian music sometimes —schweeet!
This place is so Ohno! The food makes me feel like I'm home. The food takes me back to the island. The staff are helpful and they speak Da Kine for those of you who know.Portions awesome!
