Came for lunch and I hate to admit that it wasn’t memorable. It pains me to say!The tacos were okay, tortilla was good, toppings were also plentiful but the star of a taco is the meat and that’s where it was lacking in flavor.Something was missing, the sazon of a taco when done right is unforgettable and that’s the thing is these tacos were forgettable. The horchata was good the Jamaica was too sweet. We ordered a side of rice and that was probably the best food item we had.If you’re looking for place that can fit lots of people, open on Sunday’s and tacos at a decent price this is a good spot to go for.

Hole in the wall style Mexican restaurant with no nonsense food. Easy to understand menu with daily specials that stay the same from week to week, based on the day of the week. The employees are friendly and efficient. Food comes out quickly and is nice and hot. The food is fresh and delicious.A particular favorite is the asada quesadillas. Amazing cheese and meat tucked in a piping hot soft flour tortilla.

Omgosh best $25 I spent on food in Provo HANDS DOWN. 6 tacos, 2 rice, 2 beans for $25 including tip? Wow. And they are the real deal too. I will be back!

Anyone who goes to the Taco Bell on this block is wasting their time because they could have gone to Don Joaquin's. Reliable place to go if you are looking for good flavors in your mouth. Easily one of the top 3 Mexican restaurants in Utah, and the best part is that there are multiple locations! Keep it up staff ;) The sauce bar is not for the faint of heart, (well, rather not for those without a spice tolerance) but it is a fantastic way to package the whole experience. A must try.

Fantastic food! Asada tacos and quesadilla are amazing!

My go to taco place for affordable, delicious tacos. Only problem I have is with their topping bar sometimes being unfresh. Like some days their onion and cilantro have distorted colors... Hopefully they could occasionally check and maintain the freshness of toppings.

There aren't many places open on Sunday in the Provo area, but luckily we found this spot.My husband and I shared:- Al Pastor Quesadilla- Al Pastor, Campechano, Asada, and Chorizo Gringa TacosThe quesadilla was so good that we ordered a second one. The tacos were pretty good, but I would probably get regular tacos next time. The cheese covered up the flavor of the meat.

Great tacos with delicious chicken, and beef! The price is very reasonable and the place is clean. The staff is quite friendly and I highly recommend it. Parking is hard to get sometimes but that is not too big a problem

Don Joaquin’s is the best taco shop in Utah. These tacos are a fantastic deal for your money and the restaurant has a fun atmosphere. I’ve never been disappointed with Don Joaquin’s.

This was my first visit while vacationing in Utah. I thought I would give this place a try and I have to say the tacos were excellent. Please note that there are about 4 locations and I went to the one in Lindon, UT because it was close to the place I was staying at. I ordered the tacos. Once you get the tacos you then can put on the toppings yourself. Two different salsas, onions, cilantro, radish, marinated red onions with habaneros, and limes. My daughter and I shared a horchata drink as well as their tres leches and flan desserts. I highly recommend having lunch or dinner here.
