I had the chimicanga and I have to say, given the current economic climate, their prices are VERY fair. It was delicious, with quality meat. The beans and rice were pretty average but the chimicanga itself was delicious. Although the billboard and their online times are incorrect (they are not open 24 hours, they close at 11 during the week) they are otherwise excellent. My new go-to for authentic Mexican food! Looking forward to going again.
Today I went in to get tacos for Cinco de Mayo. Their whole place was packed and they had several orders including a huge catering order ahead of mine. They worked so hard for everything to run perfectly despite how busy they were. The staff is always very polite and friendly and caring. I've been to this location so many times and every time I have gotten amazing food and amazing service. Thank you Don Chuy's!
I think this place has been in Provo for quite some time so I'm surprised there are no reviews. We weren't overly impressed our first time there but the menu is varied so we will try again. My two chicken tacos were good, not great. The chicken felt a bit overcooked and was all dark meat. The taco shells were definitely different - they were deep fried flour tortillas rather than corn tortillas. They were good but my food and my husband's (chicken taco and chicken enchilada) were lacking in flavor. We used several of the sauces to punch it up a bit but it didn't help much. The chicken itself needs more flavor - it tasted like it had nothing added to it. I tasted the enchilada my husband got and it had a little more flavor plus melted cheese. Even the beans and rice were bland. It was also quite pricey for a lunch meal - about $26. It's not fast food so be prepared to wait a bit. Still, we want to help local restaurants in Provo and there were lots of things to choose from so we will go back. My husband especially liked the Horchata - I tasted it and it was nice - probably the most flavorful part of our meal.
My husband and I use to REALLY love and enjoy eating here. We ordered their super fries occasionally and they were delicious. But we’ve been back twice now, and it looks like they’ve got two new guys working there who are always on their phones when we go in, which normally I wouldn’t care about at all, except our food and money has been wasted each time because of it. We’ve come home with French fries still cold and not done each time. Didn’t care too much the first time, just thought it was a one time error kind of thing, but when it happened again, after we specified that our order had not been cooked all the way last time, we were a little let down. Wasted money and time driving here. Won’t come back, it’s too bad because we really loved this place!
Amazing food at a good price! Came here with my boyfriend for the first time and we both loved it! Staff was so kind and place was very clean. Don Chuy’s is going on our list of favorites!

A year ago I decided to give this place a try. I got the chicken chimichanga with black beans, and it was like one of the best Mexican places I had. Then at the end of the day I got a bad case of food poisoning that literally kept me in the house for 2 days. I never felt so sick in my life. To this very day, my bowels have never been the same since. Eat here at your own risk ⚠️
Best breakfast burritos in Provo. Excellent price. You can get a bacon breakfast burrito before 10 on weekdays for $3.89. Can’t beat that anywhere. Burritos are huge too. Super underrated place in Provo. Hidden gem in my opinion.
GET THE BIRRIA TACOS! I got a plate of these and once I finished them immediately ordered another 4 with consumen. Amazing!
This place is terrible! I’ve given them three chances and after getting another burrito with super old and cold food in the middle, I’m done. Everything is dirty and gross! Recommend driving down the road to Don Joaquin’s where the food and service is a delight!
