I hadn’t ever heard of Zupa’s when moving to Utah and it’s easily become one of my everyday favorites. It’s HEALTHY, FRESH, DELICIOUS... and great cost. I’d recommend it to anyone new to Utah. I love the variety, but most of all that I’m eating fresh!
Tried this joint for the first time today and was thoroughly impressed with the quality, quantity and value. Kendall, I think was her name, did an amazing job. The eating area could have used some help with cleaning up the tables but other than that it was a great experience.
Cafe Zupas is consistently excellent. However the strawberries today are very small. The average strawberry I receive here has got to be at least twice the volume of this little baby. ?Customer service was great today. ?I think you should consider a 3 combo where you can buy soup, salad, and sandwich. I would buy it for sure. ?
Honest review, Zupas is a dumb operation.Just terrible planning. They place all their NUTS, TREE NUTS, and other types of common allergens up against the glass, across the other ingredients, so when they scoop up nuts for people those nuts easily fall into the other ingredients. They claim they give you kids mac and cheese, but it's not. All it is is egg noodle with Cauliflower soup poured on top. That's not mac and cheese. My kids don't like it, my nephews and nieces don't like it, and I'm sure your kids won't like it.Ridiculous prices for what you get. I looked up what they pay employees, because i assumed at those prices they paid well, nope. Everyone makes under 14/hour.More than half the staff doesn't wear a hat or hair net to keep their hair from falling in your food. This is 6 out of 12 people mind you. They dip old strawberries in chocolate most of the time. The wait is forever, because they use the same line for online orders. Doesn't matter if you've been waiting longer than that online order that just came in, that online order is given priority. They don't heat up their steak and cheese sandwich unless you request to have it heated. Is cold steak and cheese a common request? Pfft, no.They charge SO MUCH for mix-ins in your soup. 70 cents for 5 tiny onion crisps? Really? And the tables are always a mess, so i never sit down. This isnt just one experience, the only reason i go to Zupas is because of the desserts. It's the only thing good there, and they try to market themselves as a healthy option, lol.Anyways, skip this place.
Never had a bad experience at Zupas before, but today was not acceptable. I came 30 minutes before they close and there was people in line. I placed my order and they got my order wrong after telling them they remade my sandwich and there was nothing in it but two cherry tomatoes and two squares of avocado. I asked for the avocado club. They cut it really bad and fell off when I opened it and I told them and showed them the sandwich and the person at lead said “you came 3 min before closing and want everything good” I said can I speak to your manager to show the manager how really it was. and she said “that’s how sandwiches come” I clearly waited 30 min for a sandwich that was given to me wrong two times and gave it to me cold and nothing like the sandwich is. I wasn’t expecting anything in return but for them to know how not do things. I have work in restaurants before and that is not the best to talk to customers.I also never spoke to the manager so I walked out.04/20/2022
I love their soups, salads, and salads. They always have a very broad and tasty variety. But I think the thing I love most is the fact that they don’t give you any encouragement or even any way to leave a tip. I’m really tired of EVERY kind of business trying to guilt me into tipping, but Zupa’s doesn’t do that. And that’s worth giving them my business.
Had to give my order 4 separate times. What's the point of saying the whole order if I have to repeat it all over again in 60 seconds to the next employee on the line? At the register they had no idea what food was mine and my order had to be completely reassembled because it was all wrong. How hard is it to get 4 sandwiches & salads correct? Wouldn't ever go back. Food was fine, but nothing exciting.
Very enthusiastic front end. Had my salad out in less than 5 minutes. Fantastic flavor. The restaurant was very clean all around
Zupas is a delicious treat on any kind of day, but their soups will make any rainy day better. If you'd like to try more than one item they have a mix and match option so you can try a half salad and a soup or a sandwich with soup even a sandwich with a half salad. Each meal comes with a roll and a chocolate covered strawberry. If you still have room, the chocolate mousse cake will satisfy that sweet tooth.
Food is always awesome, but whenever we order curbside from this location we are stuck waiting for an excessive amount of time. Our food was supposedly ready at the time given when ordered, and we even gave more time as we showed up 20 minutes after that given time and clicked the “I’m here”. A worker brought out a bag of food to another car and made eye contact w us and we continued to wait another 20 minutes (40 minutes post the given time) and finally went inside to get it our food and it’s still not even ready.
