Super dead time. There’s six or seven people working, yet I’m waiting forever to be served. The girl making the tortillas is purposefully avoiding eye contact and greeting me. The worker doesn’t give me much sweet pork in my salad. The lettuce and the guac looked quite oxidized. The food ultimately got the job done, but gosh dang there’s quite a bit of room for improvement at this location.

I’ve gotten a drive-through salad here twice in the last month and both times they got my order wrong :( I’m allergic to tomatoes so I always ask for no pico, and each time I’ve gotten pico and the wrong beans/meat. This most recent time, there was so much liquid at the bottom of my salad - either from the beans or the chicken, that made everything really soggy.Just a bummer. I like Cafe Rio but this specific location is not one I’ll be returning to.

Super disappointed. I ordered a quesadilla through the drive through, and asked for an extra cilantro dressing (paid for it), and instead the covered it sour cream?? I got like 5 pieces of lettuce, and they skipped the whipped cream & strawberries on the tres leches, after asking me if I wanted it. I drove home, and called after getting home but they aren’t picking up. Definitely won’t be going back to this location and I’ll stick with Costa Vida.

I love cafe Rio!! It's a must stop when I go back to Utah! The food did not disappoint. My go to is the pork burrito but they're salad dressing is amazing and you can't wrong with a steak salad!! Mmm! They were busy and I am not sure if they ran out of meat, but the wait took longer than normal. Some people even walked out. They must've known they were slow because after 15-20 min of the line not moving a lady walked around with a chips and salsa sample. The place wasn't the cleanest, but again, they were busy. I'd still go back!

We went through the drive thru tonight and they forgot my ranch. That’s not the problem though, mistakes happen. The problem is when I come inside and the five people waiting in the pick up are already being ignored, and I waited 15 minutes for someone to help me and it’s because I had to stop them and ask. Four workers walked past me but refused to even make eye contact with me because they didn’t want to help me. I had to stop the guy putting out online orders. No worker was friendly or desired to help me. They were only attentive to those in the line. A man was filling chip bags to help prep the line but was standing there for a good majority of it and wouldn’t help me. The cashier wouldn’t turn to even look at me to help me, even when she wasn’t ringing someone up. Poor service all around.

We enjoy costa vita more but came to this cafe rio specifically to just go through the drive thru but it was closed. So we decided to go in, when we went in, it seemed like they were being lazy. There was maybe 2-3 people actually working and 5-7 not doing anything. The specialty drinks were not really going and looked stagnant. There was also a hobo just chilling in there. Stuff was dirty. The tortillas were too thin. I think the only thing that was a plus was the amount of meat we received.

This location’s drive through has earned this one star rating. More often than not, something is wrong with the order when we get home. This time around they forgot both house dressings that we ordered, gave us chicken tacos instead of sweet pork, and FORGOT to put the pork in my burrito. How do you forget the meat for a burrito? Disappointed and not interested in dealing with this in the future.

The worker over the counter wasn't really Mexican nor any of his coworkers. I half expected mariachis to be present in the locale and was somewhat disappointed to find out that they weren't. Other than that the food was great and the ingredients are always fresh.

My sweet momma brought us dinner from this Cafe Rio tonight. I've never personally visited this location, but considering what we got, I don't think I will. My salad had no guac, which comes standard. It also had a gnat/tiny bug on the shell when I opened my salad. (See pic) I just ripped that part off and tried not to think about it. Lastly, both my husband's sauce for his meal and my dressing spilled in the bag they had packed it in. The lids were not secure. Other than that, our food still tasted good, minus the lack of sauce, dressing, and guac.

I wouldn't recommend going to this location during night shift at the moment. Every time I've been to a Cafe Rio has been an amazing experience with delicious food minus this last time which was pretty bad. All things considered though I love Cafe Rio, best Mexican food I've had.
