It’s great to be aspirational. To aspire to be as good as Dominos is commendable. Sarcasm aside, this pizza is awful. If Dominos is bad, then this is worse. Cardboard, tasteless and cold. Home of the 6” diameter salad, 1” deep for $9, before delivery charge and tip. I just can’t figure out why this is rated so highly. Maybe it’s the after midnight pizza crowd. I wish I could rate this higher, but grew up in a big metropolitan area where they take pizza seriously. Awful.
Hands-down some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at any kind of food establishment. The young men taking our order for the pizzas was excellent, but the person cooking the pizzas, a tall young man wearing his EarPods, with dirty sweatpants, and many rings on his fingers, was touching his hair and then touching the ingredients nonstop. When our pizzas were done he just set them on the counter. We sat there wondering if those were ours and finally asked to which he called he replied yes. Then we had to beg for him to please put on sauce on our pizza. He probably should not have a job there.
Originally a 1 star review, but now it is 5 stars. The first time we ate here, it was a pickup order, a cheese pizza only. It was mediocre. What I now know, is that you build your pizza like you would build a sandwich at Subway. The pizza is the same price for a given size, regardless of your toppings. Want 4x cheese, you'll get it. Want a mound of any toppings you want, just ask. Our second visit was awesome. The pizza was amazing, a pitcher of beer was cheap. 100% we will be going back. Living in an expensive city I would not expect a place like this. Mod Pizza is a welcome change, affordable delicious food, family friendly, made to order with whatever you want. Thanks Mikey for the great customer service.
Brilliant pizza and Caesar salad. You order exactly what you want at the counter and it is made in front of you and cooked to order. This is really a takeaway restaurant containing picnic tables, think Subway but with better food!
The actual food at MOD Pizza is usually good. This review is about this location in particular and the fact that I wasn’t even able to try their food. Why? Because I tried to go this location on two separate occasions both of which should have been before they were supposed to close at 10:00pm and for some reason both days they had hand written signs on the door stating that they had closed at 8:00 instead. This is while a group who I can only assume are the workers were sitting in there both times doing absolutely nothing. Don’t go to this location and support them in their disregard for proper service and respect for their own jobs.
Staff seemed stressed. They had to pause the line a couple of times to handle the large influx of online orders. It would be helpful to have a separate station to handle online orders.Crust was really thin (but not crisp) and toppings were not dispersed evenly.
Good place to grab a bite to eat and enjoy some pretty good pizza. Essentially a choose your own adventure but with pizza and many toppings.
This is a fantastic location! The guys here are super friendly. Rafa from Venezuela, Vane , Jorgito , Cris , Celia , Danny AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! Thanks for being great!
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE their pizza. But this location is gross - it appears that they do not clean tables. Seats/tables/floors are quite filthy. So best to take out and keep away from having to eat inside.
Za was pretty good. Service was a cluster. Food was 20 minutes late after ordering online. Instead of setting up the folks who ordered ahead they were taking care of the in-store guests first. They really need to get their expediting section together.
