The food was absolutely delicious!
We were in Utah for two weeks to visit 5 National Parks, and Salt Lake was our last stop. We drove out to Park City one evening, and so glad we did. After riding around looking for a place for dinner we found a parking place in front of Firewood. Wow, what a lucky find! It was early so we were able to get a table right away. It has a cool funky vibe. The staff was wonderful, and we can't say enough good about the food! From start to finish we enjoyed every last bite! If we were staying longer it would have been worth the drive from Salt Lake just to eat there again. There is a window so you can see all the fire in the kitchen. Everything is cooked over fire and/or smoke. Absolutely delicious. After dinner I went to the kitchen door to complement the chef, and was invited in! I was surprised. The chef came over, and invited me in for a tour. Wow, that just topped off my evening.
We had such a wonderful dining experience at Firewood. Not only was Brian fantastic, Megan was extraordinary as well. She was a BIG standout. She personally came to our table to deliver our cocktails, and provided us with insightful recommendations. Not to mention, the cocktails were absolutely delicious. We will be back because of the service and spectacular food and drinks! Thank you!!
Absolutely amazing! The team at Firewood was very communicative about our reservation and worked to accommodate us at the last minute due to our late arrival. The menu is exceptional, thoughtful, and beautifully presented. Our group of 5 struggled with what to order as everything looked amazing. The staff is kind, patient, and you can tell they know the ins and outs of service. The only notable shortcoming was having to constantly watch our wine glasses pass our table--it seemed if the wine attendant either didn't know his table numbers as he kept passing our table from the bar to the back of the restaurant. We will definitely come back when we are in PC.
This is a restaurant with impeccable service and delicious food. We sat next to the kitchen and could see the chefs while we were eating, so we had a great time watching the show. The food was delicious. Our table had the elk, salmon, and lamb and were completely impressed with the food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves fine dining, fast service, and delicious food. We walked in without a reservation since we arrived as they opened, but I would recommend a reservation since it does get quite busy.
Firewood is amazing! Everything from the ambiance to the desserts are incredible! The wagyu bavette ( flank steak) medium rare is the best steak I’ve ever had!! My first time having firewood grilled steak….delicious! The service (Kelli) also great ?!!
This by far is the best restaurant in park city! It never disappoints, the staff is professional, the kitchen is amazing, the manager “renee” is priceless! The team that John has put together is one of the best, a very well oiled machine. Our expectations are always met, in fact we compare firewood restaurant to every dining experience we have. They have been consistent in great service, excellent food and ambiance! Bravo!
Had a really nice waiter take care of us at Firewood. Unfortunately his flair and charm couldn't make up for the the food, which was okay but really over-priced. We came here based on a Park City visitors guide review. We wouldn't come back.
This restaurant features an innovative menu with options including game, steaks and seafood. Inventive preparation. The dramatic wall of windows that showcase the kitchen chefs prepping the wood fired grill and ovens is amazing. The personalized menus are a fantastic and memorable touch. Delicious!
This placed has evolved to be the biggest rip-off in Park City. It should be for tourists only. Super small portions at exorbitant prices highlighted with what turned out to be a really average meal. Make sure you check the receipt. There was a $54 mistake in ours and the waiter forgot to bring the receipt. They charge extra for everything including refills. Skip this place. It sucks. Go to Blind Dog, Riverhorse, Bartolo or even the Bill White restaurants if you can.
