Giving 2 stars to be generous. We went to Park City for a little get away. We were craving some Mexican food and found this place. I trusted the other good reviews and I’m hoping it was just our experience. We understand prices in Park City are higher but we also expected the food to be of great quality. The food didn’t taste “bad” but there wasn’t anything special. The portions were very small and after spending $97 on everything, we were still hungry.Again, I’m hoping it was just our experience there, but just be aware.
The food and a service was amazing but it was so hot inside we weren’t really able to enjoy our food. I would definitely go back if it’s the winter or if the air conditioning was on.
Good, basic Mexican cuisine. Large portions. Attentive staff. Ample seating and well staffed = no wait, vs other downtown spots.
Two stars because of the good nachos, but the rest of our experience was miserable. First, we showed up a few minutes early for our reservation and the hostess very coldly informed us that we would “have to wait our turn for a table” - of course we knew that we were just letting her know we arrived. We were eventually seated about 30 minutes after our reservation time, and were told by the hostess “don’t expect to be served for awhile, we’re really busy.” Luckily we didn’t wait long as anticipated and after ordering, our drinks and appetizers came out quick, but we were informed if we wanted a second round of drinks we would all need to finish our first round, since they were so busy? Okay, at least the nachos and first margaritas were good. Finally, the food. Our food came out (a couple orders of tacos, a burrito, and fajitas). All of the plates were covered in fries and the sides were missing. When we inquired about the missing rice and beans, and the addition of fries we were told that they subbed them since they ran out. This would’ve been nice to have known before we ordered, since a few people in our party don’t eat fries. Also, the chicken burrito that we received was missing all of the additional ingredients - salsa, sour cream, and lettuce - and was nothing more than shredded chicken wrapped in a tortilla (for $22). We were told they were out of those too.Credit to the waitress who was very friendly and understanding and knocked a couple things off our order for the inconvenience. The lack of communication and knowingly sending out sub-par dishes is what was so upsetting to us. Some honesty up front would have gone a long way, but this is a place that could really use some help managing its staff and treating its customers with respect. There’s lots of good restaurants in Park City, so don’t waste your time here.
Not sure how this place stays in business, but it honestly is the worst Mexican food I've ever had. Veggie burrito literally was a drt tortilla with greasy veggies wrapped inside. Nothing else. The beans and rice were served on the side. Brutally bad.
We did not have a reservation but stopped by at 6:30 pm hoping that we could get a table. After waiting about ten minutes (the waiter/hostess were debating in front of us in Spanish if they had a table for us or not), we were told that they could put us on the wait list, and that we would receive a text. They told us the text would mention one hour of wait, but that it would not take that long. We waited an hour, did not hear back from then, and went back. Obviously they had no intent to actually call us. When we got there, they said they will give us a table for 4 (although we were 2). They took us upstairs and there were several table for 4 available. Felt like we waited an hour for nothing. Then food was very disappointing. No flavor. I got a salad with chicken. Iceberg salad in a huge bowl. Chicken was not fresh. Tasteless. Dressing was no better. My husband had the shrimp tacos. Same thing. No taste but over USD 100 for two for very bad quality food. Even the guacamole was disappointing (creamy like. Probably went through a mixer, or they added some sour cream). We did not finish the guacamole as it was just not good. Do not recommend this place.
Great food(particularly the fresh chips and salsa), good atmosphere, glad we made a reservation. Would definitely eat there again!
It was nearly impossible to find a place to eat without reservations on a holiday weekend ( for 2 people), but this place was very accommodating and was able to get us in after a short 20 minute wait.Once we got to our table the service was prompt and delivered order as expected. The missing star is for the mediocre food. It wasn't cold, but could have been warmer. I had a chicken burrito and my daughter had beef enchiladas.
This place is a hidden gem on a busy street in Old Town Park City. They had a simple but incredibly inviting atmosphere. The food exceeded expectations, having great innovations on Mexican classics. But, if you like Mexican drinks, this is an amazing spot; they were flavorful, but not loaded with extra sugar. Finally, the service here was incredible. Manu, our server, made us feel welcome and special while getting us our correct food and drinks quickly. We'll be back next time we're in Park City.
Went here for a late lunch on a Friday and had a wonderful meal. Asked for a recommendation and the server told us to get the Chilean Empanadas. Oh. My. Gosh! The absolute BEST that I have ever had. I was going to get my usual tacos but branched out and am so glad I did. I want another one. Sooooo good! The service was great too!
