Quaint little neighborhood restaurant. The decor is a little dated, but the food is quite good overall. We enjoyed the main courses more than the appetizers, and the pasta was definitely the star. The Veal Saltimbocca and Chicken Piccata were both flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Wild Boar Bolognese was rich and flavorful with delicious Al dente pasta. Wine list is a little abbreviated, so I’d consider bringing your own.
Excellent Italian food and quaint little restaurant. It’s in a strip mall and a hidden gem. Friendly place with a local vibe. Excellent desserts including gelato to finish off the evening. The veal piccata was as if I was in Italy and the lasagna is prepared in an individual crock and sells out every night.
We had a nice dinner at Cortona during our ski trip. We come out to Park City several times a year to ski but this is our first time to this restaurant. The service was friendly but the restaurant wasn’t what we expected. A small location in a strip mall which utilized all of its space as not an extra table was to be had. My wife had one of the special appetizers, blue crab bruschetta and I had the grandma’s meatball. Both were good but we both agreed that the meatball and its sauce had way too much oregano. For dinner my wife had the veal saltimbocca (very good) and I had the chicken parmigiana and pasta (also good but once again too heavy on the oregano. Many excellent Italian chefs will tell you that a little oregano goes a long way. To that end, this is a very good restaurant that needs to fine tune its ingredients a bit to become a truly excellent one.
Hidden gem. Terrific fresh pasta. The gnocchi was light and fresh served with blistered tomatoes. The lasagna was heavy on the bechemel sauce and is excellent. Finished with a trio of homemade gelato. The chocolate raspberry was my favorite but the lemon was surprisingly refreshing and bright. Can't wait to come back.
Amazing food, intimate and warm atmosphere. Reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of food. We had the Amarone, Caprese, Gnocchi & Gelato and couldn't have been more impressed.
The meatball appetizer was fantastic… coming from someone who isn’t typically a huge meatball fan, as well as her meatball connoisseur husband. Blue crab bruschetta, a special that night, was amazing! Being from Maryland, we’re always hesitant to order blue crab elsewhere, but the “new” proprietors (October 2020) are from Delaware, and they know what they’re doing! My husband’s Chicken Parm was incredible, but my Shrimp Arrabiata, stole the show – perfectly spicy, and homemade pasta to-die-for. The chocolate stout cake and the cannoli were the perfect topper for a wonderful meal. We were lucky to get a reservation the same day, but do yourselves a favor and put your reservation in, in advance. This place has limited seating and is only going to get busier!
The restaurant is totally overrated. 1) Ask us for American ID”s in ordered to be served beer or wine????!!!!! We told them we are visitors from Mexico. 2) No hard liquor available. 3) Food was just ok; nothing outstanding. 4) Two of four desserts not available. 5) Only until the end they tell you they only take cash. But when in trouble.because we were not prepares, they accepted credit cards.
Rollatini, lamb bolognese both excellent excellent
When we arrived for our 7 pm reservation, we were taken to the counter and told that was where we would have to eat. I informed the host that we expected a table, several of which were empty. He got one of the owners, Kate, who whined that there was nothing she could do, because they had 7:30 reservations coming for the tables. We were never told, when we made the reservation, that they only had counter seating available. This restaurant only takes reservations personally by phone, so they had no excuse. We left and will never go back. Not only that, I will tell everyone I know, how shabbily we were treated.
Amazing homemade Italian food. Absolutely amazing!!!
