Almost walked off after waiting forever for someone to bring water and menus…. I wish we had walked off because it was the worst thai food we’ve ever eaten!! Ordered the coconut shrimp, everything was wrong with it. The pad Thai smelled like dog food with cheese on it and we ordered it with tofu but there was chicken in it. The server said he would do something about it but didn’t do anything. I told several people walking by that it was terrible and not to eat there, so so gross!!!!!!
Walked in around lunch time and got seated immediately. We ordered an appetizer spring rolls. Waited 25 mins on an appetizer which was disappointing. It tasted like I could have gotten them from the frozen section and cooked them in my air fryer. Ordered food the same time as the appetizer. Curry was very good but if you order mild it is super hot!
from first glance, it seemed very nice and the ambiance was lovelybutwe ordered a wide variety from the menu, tom kha gai, papaya salad, ahi tuna salad, crab rangoon, jasmine rice.the tom kha gai had good broth but bad chicken.the papaya salad wasn't spicy (?)the ahi tuna salad came without the vinagrette (?) and the tuna was drycrab rangoon was good, but nothing worth the price pointand the worst part was the rice... how do you mess up rice? it was very dry, and seemed like it was heated up because it was old or something ?all very expensive for no reasonblown away in the worst way possiblethe only thing i can give them points for is plating maybe ?
Excellent authentic Thai food with great portions. The pad Thai is delicious. The curry dishes are great. It is more costly than a typical local Thai restaurant but it is on Main Street in park city. Highly recommend
Rice too hard/undercooked, duck was also overcooked (probably microwaved), every dish was salty. Waiter is nice & wine selection is decent. Bottom line: not worth the price ($25-35 per dish).
My family really loves Thai food…we usually get it back home a few times a month. When visiting Park City, we figured…why not try Thai food. After all, it’s usually extremely tasty and not too expensive. Well, one thing for sure is that Bangkok Thai on Main is, by far, the most expensive Thai food I’ve ever had. I will also say that the food quality is very good. Does the quality justify the high prices? Uh, no…but, the restaurant is on Main Street and I’m sure the high rent district in a resort town forces all prices up. With that being said, I started with the coconut soup with chicken and veges. It was very good. No gripes at all. Others in my party also got it and we enjoyed it. I think it was like $13.00 for cup of soup, which is beyond absurd, but it was very good. Pictured below, you will see my entree. I got the Basil Chicken with some veges added. It was undoubtedly excellent, but again, double the price of what a dish like this should be. We had a neat duck appetizer that was very good, btw. All in all, if you are in Park City and want very tasty Thai food, I cannot knock this restaurant for food quality. I can only knock it on insanely expensive prices for what should be far less expensive food. But, to defend them, it is Main Street in Park City. Would I venture here again in the future? Yes, I would. We very much enjoyed the meal…but, I didn’t enjoy paying for it! :-)
Friendly service , plenty of menu options and large portions. Everyone took food home.
If you are looking for somewhat authentic Thai food, you will be disappointed. I ordered eggplant with basil, the menu said Thai eggplants, definitely not Thai eggplants or any trace of basil in it. The pad Thai and masaman curry my family ordered was not bad.On the other hand, Staff was super friendly, heard my complain and offered 10% discount.
Good food with authentic Thai flavors. ServIce was pleasant but not timely. Very busy mid week which speaks to its popularity. I believe the value rating should be $$$$ not $$ to $$$. It is pricy, but good. You need to make a reservation or you will likely have to wait. We had a reservation and even though seated immediately it took too long, in my opinion, to get drink orders. Otherwise a great choice.
The staff were very attentive and the restaurant was super clean and inviting. The food cam piping got and delicious. Some of the best curry my husband has had...and he eats a lot of curry.
