Drinks came 5 min before food( waited forever to get them) Food delivered cold, we had no silverware waited 5 min for them( had to ask the bus boy for them. Server never checked back to see if everything was ok. Waited 25 min after asking the bus boy again to grab our waiter and some boxes. Never got boxes! I’m from the service industry and this is literally not the way to do this! Really quite mad I had to pay for something I didn’t eat! Step up your game folks! With costs of living going up servers should be doing anything and everything to make that money!
The cheese enchilada I ordered was cold on the middle. Service was modestly attentive and that might have been due to short staffing.
The food is a 3.5, but the service really bumps this place up to a 4! We were seated quickly and our waitress was super friendly. Like, my wife and I thought she could be our friend kind of authentic nice and friendly. Sofia is great!As for the food, the portion sizes were great and the price seemed right for the amount of food we got. It was ok. I got a Burrito that was absolutely COVERED in queso. It was just good, but left me very full.We also got a drink called the Lava Flow. It was basically a strawberry piña colada.The vibe of the restaurant was excellent and they got our food out to us crazy fast.
Was expecting better authentic flavor for high price. Food looks so good on outside but was not flavorful on inside (not much salt or seasoning). cafe Rio has much much better flavor for the price. They need fix the flavor especially the meat and beans.
Baja has good food for a good price, I've been a long time customer and had a waitress tip herself without giving a receipt or digital card reader option to select a tip. On take out they do a mandatory %15 gratuity. the waitress tipped herself %20 even though she told me 15% and never gave me a receipt. This is dishonest and shady the manger agreed the tip for takeout was wrong and didn't seem very bothered. This is my last time eating here.
The portions are large and there were plenty of seats and no wait. That said the quality of the food was questionable - the salsa looked / felt / tasted like it had been poured from a bottle of tomato sauce, the enchiladas were relatively bland - though the portion was quite large.On the bright side the drinks were decent. I'd stop in if I was very hungry and couldn't get into the other places around there.The prices are about the same as the rest of the ski town.Experience - 5, value - 3, offerings - 3
We tried it 5 years ago and wanted to see if it had improved since our last visit. Nope. It's still an overpriced less-than-mediocre attempt at a Mexican food restaurant. The charge of $0.99 for tortillas actually made me laugh.
Enjoyed a nice family meal. Our fajitas, shrimp tacos, and 2 kids dinners were quite good. Experienced the weakest Margaritas ever- more like lemonade - tasted no Tequila. Server was adequate and dinners arrived very quickly. Always a solid choice for dinner.
The rules in the restaurant are ridiculous. We were in 12 but they could only setup the table if everybody was there because of restaurant rules. Ok, I get that but the place was not busy. So, because they are not so smart they had to setup the tables twice, one for 8 people, and after that for 12.The service after that was ok. Food is average. The tortillas and sauce look like are from supermarket. I live in Houston, and the food there is much better.
One of my worst restaurant experiences. They didn't have half the items on the menu, what food they did have arrived cold, and our server was incredibly rude throughout the service. Even after all of that, I was willing to brush it off and walk away, until I noticed they had charged our table of 5 a group gratuity fee of 18%, AND MY CARD WAS MISSING. After about 10 minutes of searching, we found the card underneath a nearby table. When I then complained about the fee, our server snapped back about an inability to do anything about the fee on a technicality.Overall awful service and experience. I would recommend against this location to anyone visiting Park City.UPDATE: After leaving, I discovered our server charged us for items that we never received. After I signed the check and left, SHE INCREASED THE CHARGE ON MY CARD because of my complaint. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. I'm at a loss for words.
