We had them cater a graduation party, and it was fantastic. I was worried about having enough food so I called the day of the event to add, and they gladly accommodated us. When they arrived, I was skeptical that the 3 trays they delivered would feed 45, but we had leftovers! The brisket was outstanding, the chicken was also really good, and the mac and cheese was amazing. We give the beans a solid ok ;)I would TOTALLY use them again.
Watched 11 crew members stand around while 7 of us just waited in line to have our order taken … I get that maybe they can’t work the computer or something but send them to the back or make them look insanely busy at the grill. But they were obviously not doing anything. Having 11 people stare while 1 cashier takes orders for a massive line and nothing else is happening just looks bad.Food was pretty tasty; ribs were cold, thought that was weird.Was hard in the end to justify the $40 meal for the two of us, food was ok. Service was ok. For $25, sure. I’ll take it. But $40 was steep for the overall experience.
Sadly I cannot give this a good review. Went during dinner hours on Friday night and they were totally out of the majority of the meats on the menu and some sides. Meat that I did order was mostly fat. Place was messy and low stocked. I did like the baked beans and Mac and cheese though.
The Mac and cheese is pretty good. I tried the brisket salad for the first time and it was great. The meat was so tender it just fell apart, but I definitely preferred the ranch to the bbq sauce. I would get it again!
We had our Moms 75th birthday catered and the pork was all Fat. Because of this we did not have enough meat to feed all of the people. We called wallaby’s to tell them and they brought over cold Chicken as a replacement for the pork and they also gave us gift cards that expired in 2 weeks. We showed the fatty pork to the guy who brought us the chicken and he said he wanted to take it back to work to show everyone how bad it was and that it was unacceptable. Today we went to use the gift cards. There were 6 $10 gift cards and when we tried to use them they would only let us use one for our order. It was my son there and he tried to tell them that we were told we could use all of them. They still would not and charged my son for all the food but $10. My son left while My husband was calling them and talked to a manager and she said she would give us a refund and take the cards. We then called my son and had him drive back to Wallaby’s, he waited in a long line and when he talked to the manager she would no longer refund the money. Now our food is cold and we still got screwed by Wallaby’s. I will never use them to cater again! What a nightmare!
We love the food and variety of sides and sauces here. Has some of the best Mac and cheese! We love getting the family platters - lots of food!
Everything was fine except the brisket is not worth it to pay extra. The majority of the meat was pure fat. But it was a nice restaurant.
Very tasty! We enjoyed every part of our takeout order from Wallaby’s. The beef brisket is especially tasty, though the rolls may be my favorite part! I will definitely continue to come here.
I got a huge catering order for my team members at work… Wallaby’s was so great, organized, and helpful! I even had to add an extra 20 meals last minute and they were all over it. The manager and shift leads were great, as well as all the line staff. Best service I’ve ever received for a catering order this big!! I would give six stars if I could.
