Strawberry Shake was excellent! Seriously a great shake. The burrito I got on the other hand left something to be desired. I don't recall which it was but it was one of the more basic ones without meat. Only real issue was the tortilla probably should have been cooked longer; it tasted sort of doughy. My friend who also got a shake and burrito had the same experience. Again, shakes = fantastic.
This place is what would happen if Utah tried to fix Del Taco. The vibe and the menu are similar, but the food is waaaay better. Everything was super fresh and the portions are good sized. Don’t come expecting Mexican food or spice because this is not the place, but if you just want some good Tex Mex this is the place!The only thing stopping me from eating here multiple times a week is that there isn’t one in downtown Provo.
taco amigo has been brought down from the heavens. when i take that first bite of my brean and cheese burrito it immediately sends me to a place, a place unlike any other. amexica (get it cause it’s american mexican food) the oreo shakes are so amazingly perfect, i stuck my thermometer in one i got and i was at just the most perfect temperature that all shakes should be at. i can’t wait to go again tomorrow! hopefully they actually put extra oreos in my shake this time and i am really wishing they will make sure the cheese is fully melted before they hand it over for me to chomp down. sauce is good, recommend it.
I love taco amigo. But I ordered 2 meat burritos and they mess it up every time. When They repeat the order back to me they say the correct things in the menu and almost every single time I get a bean burrito instead of meat burritos. Please please please fix this problem. It’s so frustrating it seriously happens 90% of the time. Just be aware before you order the 2 different burritos that they will mess them up.
You can barely call this Mexican food. My wife said the red sauce tastes like spicy spaghetti sauce. High price for cheap quality food. These tacos are not my friends.
The Big Amigo burger is great just don't try and eat it in your car. So much sauce and toppings hard to eat without making a mess. A great mess. So good.

I used to live pretty close to this place! I used to swing by every once in a while. I appreciate the friendliness of all the workers there and the prices aren't top bad. The food itself isn't the absolute greatest, but it doesn't need to be. It is often said, "you get what you pay for," and that is absolutely true here. My favorite menu items has to be the large fries. The fries are definitely my favorite item on this menu!
Food is always great. Chicken and beef flour tacos with a side of fries. Just know going in your going to pay much more than at del taco, taco time etc.. but it's worth every single dollar! Make sure to get the fresh fruit shakes when they have them.
