Pleasantly surprised with menu options and flavors. Will admit that after the previous visit we were not inclined to return but for a birthday celebration we did. For Mexican flavors in some unusual combinations this is a great place.
The true greatness of Milagros is perfectly encapsulated in the preceding moments before the meal. As one muses over the menu considering every option, the whole ambiance and aura of the place embraces one in a feeling of a rustic and fun energy. The chips along with the salsas offered exceeded any prior notion I had coming in. The roasted tomatillo in particular is delightful!
Delicious and authentic! We drove by many times wanting to try it and are glad we finally stopped in. The salsa was very fresh. I only have good things to say about our visit. We will be back!Also... they make fried ice cream!
We are regulars at Milagros, they know my husband by name now when we go to get on the list! Tonight was really cool because we got invited back to a special table in the kitchen for a whole new experience! We’re always so amazed at how fast we get our food and tonight I understood why! The cooks and staff are so quick and it was so fun to watch them at work and prepare our food right in front of us! The food is always so yummy! I always get the beef quesadilla, but tonight I ventured out and got the pork enchiladas and they did not disappoint! But let’s be honest, Milagros never does! Thanks so much for the awesome experience! See you next week ?
The specialty Horchata is incredible! chips and salsa are great ? my nachos today look delicious!!
Just arrived in SLC for a few days, and found this place near the hotel. My regular place in Chicago is very similar to the atmosphere here, and the food was not disappointing at all!The salsas and ceviche (pic) were so good starting off, I was really satisfied with just that. But then they brought out my tacos, and I was overwhelmed! (pic)I usually have steak, but these beef chunks were so tender and tasty, I didn't want to stop eating!Overall, the meal, music, and atmosphere was pleasant. Our waiter, Hector, was very helpful and accommodating during lunch. If you're nearby, and love authentic Mexican dishes, you will really enjoy the dishes here.Ok, so I did see the sign for the free Horchata if you give a review, but y'all know I give reviews anyway, so this was easy. ☺️?
If you want a place with great ambiance, delicious, and top notch service, then this is the place to come. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the food comes out out hot and tasty. There is even a "secret" table you can sit at, if you are very lucky. The head chef actually took my daughter and niece into the kitchen to let them cook their own tortilla! I would give more stars if I could!
Great food and even greater horchata
Excellent Mexican Restaurant! Had the fundido. Great appetizers, chips and salsa were excellent too. Highly recommended. Service was friendly, timely awesome!
Milagros is exactly what it is supposed to be. Tasty non authentic Americanized Mexican food. It is all that. And at a price of all other restaurants like it.The service is what bumps it down to three stars.First, my wife ate 80% of her meal without water. Waitress never came back to fill it. When she did she only filled my wife's. My water was 3/4 gone. So I ate the remaining of my meal without water.Second was the ordering. When you order food and they ask you I what kind of rice and beans you want with that that means in the burrito. They never explained that. So when they asked what sites I wanted I did not pick rice or beans cuz I expected it to be on the plate like every other Mexican restaurant that has a big oval plate of big burrito and then tons of rice and beans next to it. Train your employees to explain the menu to someone. Maybe ask them if this is their first time or if they're familiar with the menu.Update: due to owner response. I think they missed the point that bumped it down from a 4 star to a 3 star. Sub par service. I said the food was good. As expected and at an as expected price. I do not however expect to have water with my meal. That is what bumped it down. In all honesty I should bump it down to a two star review because they accused me of being some competition attacking their good name. I am not. I am just some some dude who came in to eat because Mexican food sounded good. And it was good ... but what do I know ... I am also not a expert in judging authentic Mexican Food.
