The kiosk to order took a while to find items on and we thought we ordered something but it didn’t get added. No one came up to accept our payment after we ordered. Our food took a long time to get. I think the drive through was priority. The tables and seats were dirty in the kids room. The hand dryer didn’t work in the Women’s restroom and the toilet paper roll was on the changing station. There were no disposable changing pads and they should have a trash by the changing station for dirty diapers and wipes. Our eggs were watery and had a weird flavor. We didn’t get our apple slices until we made them look extensively for them. We didn’t get raisins or a spoon with the oatmeal. We got 4 packages of syrup for our 3 pancakes and only needed 1. I didn’t remember seeing salt and pepper as an option but it is annoying to not be able to get my own condiments. The egg biscuit was very delicious and pancakes, OJ were yummy.
I just went to have something fast to eat, and I’ve been there before and everything was good, but today…… the girl attending, oh my God, was like if I did something to her and she was getting revenge on me, and the sandwich/burger, where incomplete, cold, and I asked for some catsup, and the way she gave it to me, wow!! I wonder if she is been educated, or just letting her to “be the way she wants”, and the result is not a nice, good or pretty way to be.
I visit this particular McDonald's a few times a month from 9-11 p.m. The staff are always nice...which is surprising given that they must be stressed out of their minds. That is also why they don't get 1 star. This location has been short staff for months (at least in the evening/late hours). After pulling up and jumping straight to the order screen, I've waited in the drive through for 20+ additional minutes. People have often just ordered, turned off their car, and then after some wait, left without ever paying or getting their food. I keep making the mistake of hitting up this Mcdonald's and need to just go to a different one on my way home. Don't be fooled if there isn't a huge line because it moves at a snail pace. Honestly, it is the slowest fast food drive-through I've ever gone through.
I was at the Maverik getting gas and decided to get something different this morning for breakfast. So looking across the street was a McDonald’s. It was about 7:15 in the morning so I thought the biscuits would be fresh and moist. So I ordered two bacon, egg and cheese biscuits. Was I mistaken! The biscuits were so hard that they crunched like a crouton. They literally cut the upper part of my mouth. The eggs were on the warm side of cold that the cheese didn’t melt. Such a lousy meal to serve patrons. I couldn’t believe that they are getting away with it. The quality of McDonald’s has gone down hill. You can no longer expect to get your food warm from here let alone hot. Everything about McDonald’s just sucks! The food and service seriously need to be re-evaluated!
2 days ago I pulled up to my regular McDonald’s on 800 North in Orem and ordered my regular breakfast that I get every day on my way to work. It was a rough morning, nothing was going well. I was down, my family was falling apart, work was stressful etc. As I pulled up to the window, an employee by the name of Roxanna greeted me with her usual happy smile. She was happy to see me again as I am a regular in the morning. She was so sweet and happy and turned my morning into a beautiful day just by being her and showing me her smile and how happy she was that I was there. I hope you know what a gem you have in Roxanna. She has turned many of my terrible mornings into happy ones just by smiling and showing her happiness to me and to others. Please thank her and tell her what an amazing role she plays in my mornings on my way to work. I’ll forever be loyal to the McDonald’s on 800 North in Orem for her kindness and the great food!
I went through the drive thru with a mobile order. when i told the employee (which i later found out was the manager) my mobile order code, and she told me she had no order for me. Okay, maybe i placed it wrong so we tried to reload it and she told me she found it and i proceeded to the first window. I asked her if it was for the right person because she kept speeding through the name so i couldn't understand if it was mine or not. I just said yes (looking back i shouldn't have but the line behind me was growing). She then told me my payment didn't go through on the app and told me my total was $4, which didn't make sense because my order was $10. I paid the $4 and proceeded to the second window. They gave me some random breakfast sandwich which i didn't order. The lady at the second window was very helpful in trying to fix the misunderstanding. The manager then came to the window and said i had no money on my card and they didn't have my order, basically telling me to leave. I was so embarrassed. I feel like there was a huge miscommunication, but the situation should've been handled very differently. Also my card was still charged for $4. I love McDonalds, eat it nearly everyday. I will never be returning to this location.
Mcdonald's of Portugal doesn't have a lot more to offer than your typical American McDonald's (unlike France which is like another world, along with the classics). The service was fine and the food consistent. Can always rely on Mcdonald's being McDonald's. Take it for what it's worth. I'm simple. Cheeseburger Coke and a Fry, and it's always a quick easy reliable option there. One special note -- fresh pineapple spears? Ok... So that's different! I loved that.
Long lines, cold food. Waited for over 20 minutes for our order just to get cold food. The late night crew had no sense of urgency, for being a McDonald's right off the freeway you would expect faster service.
One of the slowest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Way too slow for McDonalds. Food was fine but I go to McDonald’s to get food quick. Might need to hire more employees considering you’re in Orem where there are tons of college kids wanting food after 10:00.
Every time I go by to get a shake or McFlurry, I swear that the employees rush without glancing at what they’re handing over to the customer. They never fully fill it up to the top of the cup line, and always half way and charge full price. Take your money where it will be we’ll spent and filled up.
