So this place is actually really great! If it weren't for certain aspects it would receive 5 stars easily. The food is definitely 4.5 to 5 stars and the environment is to. However, the pricing is just a bit off. A soda is $5 here. Something I have known before but have always forgotten as it's a rediculous over pricing of a drink. Especially when comparing it to other similar restaurants in the area. Other than that and a couple other things this place is one of my favorites. Just get water :)

Came here for lunch with my family. The wait wasn’t bad. We spilled water and they hurried and cleaned it up.Our lunches came out quick and they were huge! I had to take half of it home for later. They do charge for extra chips but not salsa. The only big problem that really peeved me was that they charged a 4% fee for using our debit card instead of cash.I cut my tip short to even out my bill with that charge.✨If you didn’t charge that fee your Tips would be bigger✨

Ate at Maria Bonita last Friday night and although we had to wait over an hour for our seat, the wait was well worth it. Great salsa, guacamole dip was very good and food was fantastic. We rolled out of there fat and happy!

I was craving chilaquiles for months so I decided to try their chilaquiles al albañil. They were amazing and the serving was huge. Two people could share one plate and leave satisfied, especially with the complimentary chips and salsa.

Wish I would have remember to take a picture before we were half-way done. Ordered the combination Guadalajara which was more than enough food for the both of us. This is probably the best Mexican food we’ve had in our 3+ years of living in Utah. Complimentary chips were exactly the way my wife loves them, thin and just a little greasy. Restaurant had a good vibe, and the service was excellent all the way around. Only complaint is we showed up at 545 on a Saturday night and our “30 minute wait” was closer to an hour and 15 mins. Fortunately it was well worth the wait. Should mention that my wife is an horchata aficionado, and she said this was the best she’s ever had. I think I’ll try the pina colada next time. Definitely had some envy as i saw others being served theirs. Last think you mention was the shredded beef and pork were both very tender and flavorful.

Great atmosphere and costumer service. We came at lunch time and our food was ready super fast :)Ordered 3 taquitos de pollo (chicken) and they had a great taste!!You have to try the horchata drink, very authentic.

WOW! Everything about this place is wonderful! Our server was a GEM! By the end of our meal we were all in love with her! We had a large party and our food came out to us so quickly we were all amazed. And the food was delicious! They gave me a taco with shredded beef instead of ground beef. I didn’t even say anything because it wasn’t a big deal, and the next thing I know, they were bringing out a new taco. They were crazy busy but their attention to detail made you feel like you were the only ones in the restaurant. I highly recommend eating here!

We waited around 90 minutes to get our table but they provided an electronic alert so we could leave the site while we waited. Ordered pork carnitas tacos and carnitas tacos with a chipotle sauce. Fantastic! We had our food in around 15-20 minutes and it was well worth it.

The food was good and served quickly. We were directly asked to leave the restaurant because they needed the table which has never happened to me before! So that’s why the 3 stars.

The overall experience was terrible.- To begin with the staff didn't even bother to take the order and then the entree arrived after more than 45 minutes and that too after several reminders- Finally they decided to take the order for the main course and then after 30 minutes or so the manager walks up to our table and informs us that the kitchen staff has left and food cannot be served whilst the plates had already been laid.- And during this entire episode we'd requested the manager that our mum needed to eat since she has diabetes but this guy (Oscar) didn'teven budge and offer any sort of alternate even after we kept reinforcing about our mum but on the contrary threatened to call the cops and relentlessly kept defending that kitchen had been closed and nothing can be done to serve us the food.- To say the least the first being in the hospitality industry is to be courteous and humble with a mindset of making the customer happy as one pays for the experience and not just the food......and this restaurant doesn't even came close to that.Guys last thing on this earth you need to visit is this obnoxious restaurant while rest is your call.....
