I was super disappointed in the quality of customer service and cleanliness of this location. The girls working were distracted and it took them several moments to even acknowledge me even after making eye contact when I entered the establishment. They were too busy talking to take my order. They were out of a lot of different toppings and the stone where they mix the ice cream was dirty. Unfortunately the entire store was so dirty I was uncomfortable eating there. I will definitely not go back.
Today was Memorial Day weekend so you expect to see a lot of peploe out. And you expect the stores ready for the shoppers. But It was very disappointed to see that they were out of stock of petty much everything. No waffle cones, no waffle cups, no chocolate fudge and only FOUR FLAVORS available. I've never seen this happened before. The store, the floors and the tables were dirty, like there was no one in charge.
We went into the Orem Mall around 6:45 pm on Wed., 4/27 and the 3 girls behind the counter were talking and eating the ice cream. Another customer needed help on getting napkins and one of the girls just pointed to where they were as she put another spoonful of ice cream in her mouth. Very poor and very rude. We ordered 2 of the Peanut Butter cup ice cream desserts and they were out of peanut butter sauce and fudge. They quickly put them together, not breaking the candy up or even mixing them correctly. It's great to have young teens working but they need to do their job correctly!! The owner or manager needs to talk to their employees concerning customer service. Please have them keep the place clean too. No clean tables tonight!!
The person who helped us, Roger, was attentive, respectful, and easy going. We came when it was super busy and he seemed to be the only one who knew what he was doing. This used to be such a great location, but it seems like management needs to get it together. From what I’ve heard, this location struggles to pay and retain their employees. Very disappointing that store or mall management does not step in to create positive change.
Wow!!! I used to love coming to cold stone but lately it’s been just horrible, the workers weren’t wearing appropriate gloves and they were doing such a bad job making the scoops, they all were very distracted the tables were disgusting. They were out of a lot of the ice creams. The floors were disgusting and so was the glass it was so gross it made me not wanna be in the store cause it was that gross the line was so long but it shouldn’t of been if they were actually helping the customers and I feel like a lot of the people need to be trained about making ice cream bowls or anything and they need more training for cleaning the store. Do better cold stone. You used to be such a good ice cream place.
I get that finding workers is hard right now but not a single one of them knew what they were doing. To top it off they had just about everything out of stock. And not enough places to sit. It was just not a good experience.Chick doing our ice cream spilled my husband's everywhere.The chick that checked us out declined to take my digital gift card saying very rudely they don't take apple pay. ? I told her that it was a gift card and then and only then did she look at my phone. Just rude.
The ice cream is usually pretty good, the bad review is because who ever manages this location sucks at their job. They are always understaffed and I can’t tell you how often we just leave because a 10 person line takes 30 minutes. When we stay we watch most people stand in line for a minute and give up. Hire more people, and actually stock your stuff.
Coldstone is expensive, but usually it's ok because it's good... We ordered a "cookie doughnt you want some" and a peach milkshake. She asked me, the customer, how to make a cookie doughnt you want some and than she gave us a glass of milk for the milkshake. Not worth 5 dollars. If I wanted a cup of milk I'd get a gallon of it for 2 dollars at walmart.
Daniel helped us out, he was so kind and sweet to us. He is very polite, hard working and works very fast. The best costumer service!! Thank you so much the world need more people like you.
Worst service I have ever seen. I have been in line over 20min. One brown haired girl has sat on her phone while 2 others are just chatting it up with other employees. In the time I have stood here 3 people have been served. If I wasn't next in line I'd leave. Great ice cream but the worst service I have ever experienced. I have thought about jumping behind the counter and doing it myself. This place is a joke!!!
