Was impressed from the moment we were greeted at the door. We were quickly seated and waited on. While we waited for our order we watched as staff quickly came to clear and clean tables as customers stood up. The food was homecooked delicious. Staff was not upset as I received my food and realized I had not asked for crispy bacon. They took it back and crisped it up without hesitation or judgement.We actually attempted to go to a chain restaurant for breakfast, but they indicated they had a 30 minute wait even though many booths and tables were empty and when we decided to leave, the chain restaurant staff were mad. After that experience our positive experience at Callie's was even more appreciated.
Chicken fried steak didn't taste quite right, potatoes looked burnt and service check was poor. Only had 1 cup of coffee

Been there a few times in the past. Food has been good to decent but the cleanliness, atmosphere and service is terrible. Wait staff have the biggest attitude problem I've ever seen, won't refill drinks, will try to charge you for things you didn't have and will change the tip after you sign the receipt. If you need an example of their terrible customer service just look at the owners replies on here. She even complains that people leave reviews instead of talking to management as if she doesn't know what the review system is. Interesting how she doesn't complain about the unearned 5 star reviews though.And no, I'm not going to do your job for you and tell you the date, time or name of staff members who were terrible. I don't care if you improve your business or not and frankly will be happy when you go under.As I said, I don't care if you don't have the information needed to 'improve your business' and it is obviously the fault of the owner if they have such a problem with their servers that almost every single negative review mentions it. Killer hash makes a good appetizer. I had the corn beef hash with 3 medium eggs over it. Tasted fantastic nice to have a good old breakfast. The chocolate milk(nesquick) was perfect for the kids.
This is not a 5-star restaurant, as for the food I’d give it a 4.5. However, because the service was amazing and the atmosphere is very welcoming, they earned a 5-star. Quick and pleasant service. Not to mention they serve breakfast all day long!

I've lived in Orem my entire life and always drove by not knowing what went on in Callies. Finally went with some colleagues and now take my wife on the regular! Best breakfast food you could ever ask for and nice, friendly staff always there to chat and have fun with.
Great food, good atmosphere! We used to feel like this was an undiscovered gem- but it seems like it is always busy when we go here. I had the steak and eggs and my husband and son got hamburger steak and eggs. The portion sizes are generous- I always have leftovers. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed!
Not sure why the bartender in the hawaiian shirt is even employed here. Watched him treat 3 people like trash. Literally made me feel uncomfortable. Good Food isn't even worth it with such bad customer service.
