This is my 3rd time to Asado, each time has been delicious. Today for my Birthday I ordered ahead and made a reservation for the Tomahawk Steak. This by far has exceeded my expectations of how good steak can taste. It is the most delicious steak I have ever eaten in the past 43 years. It is a bit pricey but you get every side with it. So you will have lunch and dinner the next day. Whoever the cook/grillmaster/chef is my hats off to you.
Our new favorite place to eat in Orem!!!Expect to wait for a table because the secret is out on Asado!!! We started chatting with the owners husband and he gave us the inside track on what to order!We started with the Calamari Frito. I get calamari everywhere I go, and this is my new favorite! The white fish was fall apart buttery perfection. I’m not use to white fish in a calamari dish, but it was a highlight, along with the fresh tomato and onion lime side.For entrees we got Entraña (Argentine Cut)cooked medium. I’m normally a medium rare guy, but apparently it is a chewier cut of meat, so they recommended it be cooked medium which was perfect, not as chewy, and made for a delicious juicy steak.Asado Cordon Blue is the most popular dish they serve, and for good reason. It was very flavorful and savory!If you like seafood, the Fresh Ceviche Mixto (Fish, shrimp, calamari, and octopus) was hands down the FAVORITE of everyone at the table. We were told they don’t have freezers, so all the seafood was extremely fresh, and not at chewy like you get with lower quality octopus. Bright and spicy, we will be back again and again for the Ceviche!We hardly had room for dessert, but the table of 4 split a slice of the Chaja. This is a dish worth sharing. I’ll probably give it as a gift the next time I have the opportunity to really make someone’s day. It is beautiful and delicious!!!
I went to Asado last night for dinner. I love getting their beef empanadas. I decided to also try their papa rellenas. Papa rellenas is mash potatoes with cheese and beef inside. It's a nice appetizer. I definitely recommend their empanadas with some chimichurri sauce. First timer over here but heard so many good things we had to come for a birthday celebration. A cute charming place that seems perfect for a lunch date!The bread with the chimichurri sauce and the tomato oil/sauce was excellent - the bread was served warm and fresh! Had the beef and chicken empanadas for starters. The beef empanada was good (just a tad dry IMO) chicken empanada was perfectly cooked, soft, and fresh!Utah Bacon Burger was ordered (not my order) and it looked pretty enticing - had a great review about it! The beef patty was thick enough and served on ciabatta bread. Fries served with it were flavorful, had a perfect amount of salt, and were slightly crunchy.Entrada (flank steak) with a side of veggie rice and egg on top was flavorful and wonderful - perfectly cooked, with no fat, and great texture. Dessert (tiramisu cake) was served to us still half-frozen, but not "authentic" tiramisu so don't expect this. Desserts are brought in from an outside source.Will definitely come back as the menu is enticing and had a great first-time experience!
To start off positively, my plate was good and our waitress very kind. However, her service was very poor. Our waters never got refilled (in fact no one around us were getting refilled...?), She never checked in with us until we requested it, and she never brought ketchup after we requested it. For a $25-30 plate, we expected more overall. My husband's ribs were very fatty and overly salty for the price we paid. I was really looking forward to trying this new place and it was underwhelming :( We had high hopes, but probably won't be returning for these reasons.

Loved our experience here! I don’t write reviews often but I was very impressed! Service was awesome, very kind and on top of things! Atmosphere was calm and slightly romantic which was perfect! And last but obviously not least the food! We both got the hamburger but it was amazing! Cooked to perfection, great flavor, and some of the best fries I’ve ever had! We will definitely be going back soon!
Great great great experience! I lived in Argentina for a while - and this place gave me some serious Deja Vu! I will say the food did not taste out of this world like I had hoped. Fantastic atmosphere and presentation! Just, I've had better food.
