I love Zaxby's. It's my favorite chicken place. I'm from out of state and I made it a point to get Zaxby's while I'm here, they don't have them in Phoenix. This location did a terrible job. The kickin' chicken sandwich had almost no sauce on it, the toast felt stale, and the fries were cold and hard. Everything I was given seemed old and tasted gross. Also, they didn't even give me a zax sauce. Completely disappointed.
The service is always slow even if I'm the only car in the drive through. And the last experience with just the fried white cheddar bites gave me food poisoning that was not worth the wait and had me mentally planning on how to clean the bathroom. Its usually fine and this doesn't usually happen but everytime the wait is at least 15 minutes. I get being short staffed but when I'm the only car in line it becomes an issue.
I just drove 30 mins to get a chicken club (My favorite)and when I get there I can't see it on the menu. The woman tells me it's discontinued. They still have all the ingredients to make the chicken club so I ask if she can still make one and she said ummm no because like I said it's discontinued. It was the only thing I ever ordered from there. I dont know how they stay in business. The place is always dead when I go by and they discontinue probably their best sandwich. I won't be going in again.
I've been seeing this place a lot and since Chick-fil-A is a total no-go I thought I'd give it a try and to be honest I was not a fan Don't get me wrong The chicken was great but the sides and for some reason there was a half toasted piece of bread in there I just think they need to rethink the way they served it I don't know maybe I just need more practice ordering there that you can look good though And then I guess that's the point but I'll try again just give him the benefit of the doubt You know maybe a couple more times but it's just the design of some of their meals sets that I'm not quite fond of but you know maybe I just haven't found the right meal.
The employees here have gotten lazy! Fries are never seasoned anymore and every time I ask for extra sauce I never get it. It's sad because I really enjoy Zaxbys.
Place has been going to shambles since before covid. The chicken used to be served fresh; lately all we've been getting is lukewarm and extremely dry chicken that has clearly been sitting under a heat lamp. I miss the old Zaxby's.
Drove up late, right before closing, and got exactly what I ordered super fast. All food was fresh and hot. Everyone on the late shift deserves a raise, or you'll lose them to someone that appreciates them more.
Love getting wings here! Just don't go 15 minutes before closing.. lol they told me they don't cook traditional 15 minutes before close. Also tried to call 15 minutes before I got there to order ahead of time to avoid this issue, the employee just puts you on hold and never comes back. Currently sitting at the drive thru waiting 15 minutes anyways for boneless. Crazy. Great wings though. Would have had 5 stars if there was better customer service.
The chicken strip meals that we got were alright. I have had similar at a pub, but no complaints about that. What bothered me was how difficult it was to get extra dipping sauce for the chicken. All they give you is 1 Zaxby sauce per each 5 count meal. I asked for ranch and honey mustard and the girl at the window was annoyed. She gave me one ranch. We had 20 chicken strips total with 3 dipping sauce and 5 people to feed. No one likes to share fry sauce. Come on Zaxby's! Don't be so stingy with the dipping sauce when we spend a good chunk of money at your establishment.
I went today and the employees were just messing around per usual. I ordered my food and the price was decent I guess but not really for what I got. Not impressed with this location, go to the Clinton Zaxby’s for better experiences. I don’t understand what happened with the old crew but the new crew is intolerable and unpleasant. There are some employees who are decent but very few. Don’t think I’ll go back to this one unless they bring back old crew members. Do better or get a different job seriously.
