The food was okay, not off the chart good but fine… Thought the service was slow until I realized that are server was doing all the work in the front of the house. We saw her run her ass off and realized two hostesses were just hanging out at the check in area, two other servers were really to busy talking about other things and totally not checking on other customers, our poor girl seemed like she was the only one that cared about customer service:-/ really a shame, she bussed three tables, waited on three to four tables that we saw and never did we see anyone else do anything to help her out…. All in all, food okay( but pricey), her service was killer and would go back to see her and maybe visit with her a bit more.. I owe a restaurant and bar for 20 years and recognize good servers wherever I go with my wife as well… short, long haired , not sure what her name is but she should train the rest of the front of the house on keeping busy and checking on tables… She needs a hourly wage increase for sure:-)

Great food, exceptional service and a good price! I had the blackened Salmon and the only thing I was disappointed with was choosing the rice instead of potatoes. The rice was slightly undercooked and chewy. But that is the only complaint I have. The salsa with the chips was nice and fresh, slightly spicy. The service was friendly and pretty on point with refills and seeing if we needed anything. All in all, a good experience. Give it a shot!

I had the Salmon BLT, I actually loved the salmon more on its own then ate the rest as the BLT ? the pasta was amazing! My friend had the French dip and loved it! Our meals were reasonable hers was 9.99 lunch special, mine was about 14$ we had onion rings they are good ? the batter is a bit thick. Definitely a must try if your in the area.

Wonderful establishment. Oddly enough, I've only eaten in the basement. The first time was for a reunification seminar for recently-returned airmen hosted by the chaplain's office at Hill AFB.Fast forward, I needed a place to host my husband's retirement ceremony. The museum was not scheduling due to COVID and I needed somewhere where I didn't have to do anything because of a bad foot and mobility issues. This crew saved the day.Staffing shortages predicted I may have to do a buffet, but I really wanted a plated lunch and Angelica (Sorry, was it Angelina?) made it happen. We had three servers for about 65 people. Truly, it was nice to just sit there and let them do it.The restaurant has a lift the basement for those who are concerned with ADA accessibility. There are restrooms and a bar down there as well. They provided all of the white linens. I brought a navy table cloth for a display. I just got the flowers from Costco and the balloons from Ballooney Bin and it was perfection!

The food was so delicious and our guests absolutely loved the food as well!

Union Grill is an excellent choice for a wedding Rehearsal Dinner! The staff was friendly, courteous and prompt, and the beef brisket was amazing! The lower level was perfect for our group of 35, and the bartenders poured excellent drinks.Angelica was great to work with and did a great job of making sure everything went according to plan.We highly recommend the Union Grill!

Good food, friendly service and fast

I have wanted to try this place for a long time and I finally got the chance tonight. First of all, I LOVED the feel of the restaurant- the decor, the ambiance, and the paintings of local Ogden scenery and buildings. My husband especially appreciated the decor having grown up in the area. I got the Filet Mignon and scampi special and my husband got the beef medallions. Both meals were massive portions- we definitely got our money’s worth. The meat was tender and delicious. We both really enjoyed our meals, and I surprisingly even really enjoyed the vegetable medley of squash and Brussels sprouts. We ended the meal with the best bread pudding I’ve ever had- it tasted like it was made in a Dutch oven and it was moist and delicious and largely portioned. We are definitely going home full. Our waiter was Graham, and he was very attentive and personable and quick to offer helpful suggestions. It was overall a wonderful experience. It was more expensive but definitely worth it!

Service top notch. Salmon delicious. Accommodated a split plate, half blackened. Ambience nice. Will return. Caught a movie at the Megaplex and walked over, with snow falling and already accumulated, to the grill. A short pleasant walk. Nice date night experience.

The atmosphere here is great. They were all decorated for the holidays and it was so pretty. Our waiter was incredibly nice and attentive. I got the steak medallions and they were perfectly cooked. They were very accommodating to our large group. The restrooms were spotless. All in all a great experience!
