Another great independent restaurant. We don't eat at chains! The owner warned us that service would be slow as the kitchen caught up with orders. And, that was a good thing. We love hearing the history of old buildings and we were certainly not disappointed! The delayed service provided him time to share some really intriguing tales.Very entertaining and the food was on point.

I was so excited to come here because of all the vegan options! It took over an hour to get our food even though we were the first people in the place and the table next to ours got their food over a half hour before us even though they ordered ten minutes after us.My vegan sausage was microwaved to death and was too hard to eat. The vegan omlet was overcooked and hard to eat but cold inside. If I could give zero stars I would.I am heart broken because it was such a great location and menu but the service was the slowest I've ever had AMF the food was horrible. I'm heart broken.

Wonderful atmosphere with Al Capone history. Good for date night or a party/private event. Great customer service, including a magic show if the owner is around. Some menu items are amazing so ask what's recommended; they'd do well to trim down their menu to the best options.

We loved the atmosphere. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The server thought they were out of the side I wanted so I gave a back up just in case. They confirmed they were out, and minutes later realized they weren't. They were very nice about the whole situation. The food was great. Had a number of clearly marked vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.

Great food good service amazing atmosphere! Cute little bar in front and speakeasy in other side. I can't wait to come here again!

Quaint hometown Cafe with delicious food and intriguing history. Hidden rooms and compartments, expansive and tasty menu, delightful staff, the Al Capone room...and so much more!My companions had everything from the French dip to French toast with hearty bacon to a chef salad. I wasn't as hungry, so I went with just a side salad and a cup of Wisconsin Cheddar Ale soup with flavor that I am glad I did not miss.I plan on coming back and trying their blackened steak and more!

the Crab ravioli was absolutely amazing!

We rode the train up and stopped for lunch! Sandwiches were reasonably priced and tasted great. Would highly recommend!

Tried this place a couple years ago and was disappointed. Thought we would give it another try i don't like to leave bad reviews but i will not give it another try. It was kind of discouraging that they offered people next to us that got there after us and got their food before us a discount for the wait and we were there for alot longer.

Really nice little local bar/restaurant. Service was a little bit slow getting seated but once we were seated it was very nice. Cool tidbit fact, Al Capone used to frequent here. Food was okay served hot and the price was very reasonable, especially the drinks. I tried the muffaletta sandwich, which was good but not truly a muffalatta sandwich from a New Orleans standpoint.
