Great place if you like American Mexican food nothing authentic about it. Asked about the ceviche and was told it was shrimp and yes it was cooked it lime juice. I was giving a shrimp cocktail nothing like ceviche, that’s like advertising enchiladas and serving tacos. My wife’s chicken fajitas were brought out luke warm no sizzle at all and my son refused to eat his taquitos. Father’s Day dinner was a bust.
Being Father's Day, I made a reservation. The choice to make a reservation turned out to be good because there was a line of folks who did not (even at 4:30pm). We were seated very promptly. The food tasted good and was well prepared. The margarita was good too. We came at a time when the bartender was just coming on shift, so our drinks were a little delayed, but that kept us to a smaller drink order (which we prefer). We will return when we are in the area again.
Touring friends; avoid this place like the plague.Copy paste from of my Yelp review from my visit in early March 2022:Went here for a "good meal" while on tour and spent $160 for the worst food poisoning of my life. DO NOT EAT HERE. Had to go to urgent care for fluids and anti nausea medicine and have a mobile drip nurse come to the hotel we were staying at. Had to book another night at the hotel cuz i was too sick to move. Ruined our travel logistics and plans. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This $20 plate of food cost me an additional $500 in reparations. Also the margarita was garbage."Steve" the "Business Owner" responded asking for more details. I sent a lengthy email. No follow up.Be very cautious of those chicken fajitas.
Left most of our food uneaten. We trusted that it would be a great Mother’s Day brunch because of our previous experience but this time was a complete letdown. Brunch menu wasn’t good, food took a very long time to come, was cold, and most of it soggy as seen in the picture. Grandparents were upset, the one who paid the bill was very frustrated, and the food went to waste. DON’T RECOMMEND.
The food here is consistently good. The seafood is exceptional for a restaurant that is nowhere near the coast. For a big place it has a surprisingly cozy feel, and the wait staff is very friendly.
The service was great. But, I have no clue how it’s ranked so high. The food was bland. The salsa was burnt with no normal salsa. The cheese dip was a great experience but again, bland. This is level with Taco Bell.
I stumbled across this place on a week-long visit and ended up having dinner here three times. It offers a variety of sophisticated Mexican dishes, including vegan ones, and an ample list of craft beers, as well as cocktails. The service is unusually quick for a nice restaurant, and the staff is cheerful and engaging.
So Delicious ? Great Friendly Service ? Do your self a favor Go Eat here
Several colleagues and I ordered takeout from here after work, and even though we all ordered different things, we were all super impressed! I ordered the flautas, which were a great combination of crispy and creamy. The nachos and guacamole were also really good. Staff were really friendly, and the interior of the restaurant is clean and warm. This restaurant is centrally located and in a walkable area.
Delicious from start to finish. The portions were larger than I expected too. Friendly service and very clean. I was happy to see the conpostable straws as well. The only thing that I can complain about it that the bloody Maria my wife ordered seemed very lacking on the tequila. I know this is utah and they can only use 1 measured ounce but it tasted like zero ounces were used. Other than that, we were very pleased and we'd be happy to return again.
