The visual aesthetics was nice and neat, western style. Staff was pleasant and friendly. I gave three ✨, I ordered the breakfast fried steak and gravy, over medium eggs, hash browns. Eggs and hash, perfect. The down side was the flavor of the Breakfast steak. It had an off flavor. I ate until I made it half way through when the flavor become overwhelmingly familiar. The hamburger had turned. It had that sour/acidic flavor to it. I LL give this place another try when I am in town. Could have been an fluke situation.
Old is the one word I'd use to describe this place, the furniture, the dishes (Pepsi cup literally had 1991 on it) and the crowd/atmosphere. Went to meet a friend, wore my mask and a dozen of the patrons actually turned and glared at me until I was sat, and as I passed a table of old men one ignorantly said "when they start letting sheep in here?!" I looked at him and replied "evolution happens slowly but covid kills quickly, stay healthy." And the rest of my time there was enjoyable knowing it bothered those "back on my day..." types. My server was polite, helpful and gave me a great recommendation even though the normal chili was used when I had preferred the 'special', Navajo taco was tasty buy soggy because the chili was a bit watery. Noticed the busser used only one rag to clean multiple tables and didn't have a sanitization bucket to clean the cloth. Servers cleared tables without washing hands before running food/drinks. Hours are short so it's mostly a breakfast/lunch menu.
Breakfast was very delicious, a bit busy but worth the wait. Waitresses we're very attentive and nice.
It wasn't bad. Our waitress and the rest of the staff were very friendly. My coffee ☕ was always full. Hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. My only complaint is the sausage in my biscuits and gravy was kinda gross and soft. I felt like I was eating vegan sausage.I would go again and maybe choose something different to eat. Overall, it was okay.
Very friendly place with a warm atmosphere. The food willNot blow you away. Everything is just ok - nothing to blow your mind and nothing to complain about. Maybe an option for maple syrup would be cool. Seems like they offer the standard corn syrup variety. Our server was super friendly and the front of house people, although maybe a bit frazzled, were very friendly. The pricing is spot on. Not cheap, not expensive. The scone is a donut and it is pretty good.
I eat breakfast there almost every Sunday. I generally love the food but their cook flat out refuses to make crispy hash browns for customers and dry, bland hash browns are not my favorite. The waitresses have tried helping multiple times, but he won’t fix it. I had to drop my rating specifically because of him.
Service was prompt. Food was delicious. Great quality for great prices! I'd come here again.
Breakfast was amazing! We had a fantastic server, and the food was great! They have gluten free bread so they can make gluten free french toast and they have a great menu!
The f ood was delicious, and hot, our waitress was awesome and attentive . We were having a family lunch after saying goodbye to my mother whom we lost to covid. We had about 14 in our group and our waitress was attentive and patient with us. They never hurried us up ed vrn though they were closing soon. Thank you to the staff and management.
Though somewhat limited in options, for a cheaper quality breakfast, I strongly recommend The Rusted Spoon.Service can be hit or miss. They seem understaffed typically.
